Air / Inhalation Transmission: Protecting Healthcare Workers Through Science and Action Webinar Sep 18 12:00-3:00 PM ET Wow! This Rutgers University webinar is who's who of aerosol IAQ and OH&S experts. According to WorkSafeBC data (https://lnkd.in/g4kpa8Xg), to date there have been 11,131 COVID claims in healthcare (61% of all claims, with the 2nd most,15%, occurring in the education sector). Every workplace should be safe. I can't think of any other industry in which thousands of workplace injuries wouldn't trigger an inquiry 😥 I can't also help but note that these industries are female-dominated ... https://lnkd.in/g8M_S_pp #COVIDisAirborne #OHS #CleanTheAir P.S. I really see pandemic safety and #ClimateCrisis as related, with the climate crisis sadly driving more zoonosis, which in turn raises the risk of pandemics.
