📣 Big News: New HON MACT Fenceline Monitoring Requirements Are Here Dive into the details of the newly finalized Hazardous Organic NESHAP (HON) Maximum Achievable Control Technology (MACT) rule, focusing on fenceline monitoring (FLM) requirements. The regulatory burden for measurement and reporting of HAPs within the facilities industrial processes as well as the fenceline that surrounds the facility will be substantially increased. Many of these facilities will be required to perform ongoing fenceline monitoring using EPA Methods 325A/B and/or EPA Method 327. Happy to share that the first part of my #PFAS journey is published in STOTEN! We designed a framework to estimate PFAS loads in municipal sewers, and in the process, discovered some remarkable trends, such as the discrepancy between expected results for different PFAS, especially the "phased out" #PFOS which is still dominant in #wastewater. We also see the heterogeneity of influences that contribute to the overall load such as #apparel , #stormwater runoff and many more. Give it a read!
