🌟 Intern Spotlight: Meet Jacqueline Curtis 🌟 We are excited to introduce Jackie Curtis, a rising senior at Villanova University majoring in Chemical Engineering. Jackie is from Silver Spring, Maryland, and works remotely while being assigned to our Baltimore office. Jackie shares her journey with us: "Hi! I’m Jackie Curtis, and this is my second summer with ENTRUST Solutions Group. My first year was fantastic, thanks to my amazing mentor and supervisor. I loved chemistry and the environment, making ENTRUST perfect for me." "My favorite task has been working on AUTOCAD Civil 3D. My co-intern and I support each other on various projects. The most surprising aspect is how helpful everyone is. Even in my second year, I'm amazed by the support and openness of my colleagues." "My colleagues and supervisors have been incredibly patient, helping me grow and learn. This internship has given me real-world experience and valuable networking opportunities. The connections I’m making now with fellow interns and colleagues are very important to me." Jackie’s story is a testament to the supportive and collaborative environment we strive to create at ENTRUST. Thank you, Jackie, for your hard work and dedication this summer! #ENTRUSTSolutionsGroup #InternSpotlight #Engineering #Internship

Principal Quality Engineer | Software Development | Large-Scale Project Management | Efficiency Improvement | Cost Control
This is definitely not my wheelhouse, but I know I have some connections on here that knew my dad out in Oak Ridge and were/are in construction management. Does anyone have connections or insight for a friend of mine who is in school for civil engineering that will be looking for an internship this summer? #internship #constructionmanagement #civilengineering #structuralengineering

🎉 𝖨𝖭𝖳𝖤𝖱𝖭 𝖳𝖠𝖪𝖤𝖮𝖵𝖤𝖱 𝖶𝖤𝖤𝖪 » 𝐑𝐎𝐘 If I had to describe my Providence Engineering internship in three words, I would choose: » Rewarding » Valuable » Engaging I think that this experience is rewarding because I get the opportunity to play a small part in a variety of large projects. It is a valuable experience as it prepares me for my career and even gives me a head start on understanding some topics that I have not yet encountered in my major, like steel design. Finally, I have found this internship to be engaging, especially when I get to be in the field on site visits. #ProvidenceEngineering #InternTakover #SummerIntern2024 #StructuralEngineering

CEO at ABES Engineering. Identified as a Game Changer Entrepreneur by the White House. Let's do Business Together.
I’m excited to announce that we have two interns with us this summer through the Peer Power Earn and Learn program, a program supported by Memphis-Shelby County Schools Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO) . This fantastic program allows youth to gain real-world experience with companies, while earning a solid wage. It’s been a rewarding experience to have our interns join the team for the summer, and we hope they will walk away with great memories and solid experiences. Today, I’d like to introduce you Zaramagi Kayihura “Z” Espoir. Z is 19 years old and a junior at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (Go Vol!!!). What does your internship at ABES entail? 👷 One of my duties is learning and working on AutoCAD and Civil 3D designs, which includes understanding and applying company and industry standards. I have also been able to learn the BlueBeam software, and I have started using it to generate quantity takeoffs. What are your career goals? I am majoring in aerospace engineering. 🚀 I want to work in rocket propulsion and/or guidance, but just about everything in the aerospace field excites me. What are some of your hobbies? I am a part of my school’s rocketry team. I like to work out and play basketball in my free time. 🏀 I also play a little bit of piano. 🎹 What do you enjoy most about the ABES internship? I have enjoyed learning the way an engineering business operates and seeing the different roles everybody plays in ensuring both that work is coming in, as well as that the clients’ expectations are exceeded. What’s one thing you’ve learned about engineering or entrepreneurship? I have learned that it’s important to always keep a growth mindset throughout one’s career. 📈 #internship #summerinternship #aerospaceengineering

An Architecture and Engineering Student at the Southern Indiana Career & Technical Center. Intern for Koberstein Contracting, Inc.
As I am now a few months into my internship, I can say I have learned a lot. The knowledge that has been provided to me during this internship is unforgettable and much appreciated! Here is a list of a few things I have learned: - How to set up, use, and properly layout a site using GPS equipment. (Pictured Below: 2 gate Values and a Tee) - How to correctly calibrate a site utilizing GPS equipment. - How to mathematically check interferences in new utilities with existing utilities. - A better understanding of plan reading. - How to wet tap a waterline, without shutting it down. - How to do topsoil cut and fill calculations. - A better understanding of how to correctly install utilities per an engineer's standards. #indianaCTE #internships #architecture @AsherAlden Southern Indiana Career & Technical Center #KobersteinContracting #careertecheducation @SICTCEngineering&ArchitectureAlumni J.
