If you're having an electrical goods clear out post-Christmas and the New Year Sales, ensure that you dispose of any unwanted items responsibly. Even small electricals can contain valuable materials such as gold, silver and rare earth metals. Recycling helps reduce landfill and the environmental impact of mining for new materials. #Fridges #microwaves #washingmachines #mobile phones #gamesconsoles #chargers can be recycled at WEEE Recycling Centres. Reduce We strive to divert 100% of the waste destined for landfill into reuse and recycling. Reuse Our first priority is to reuse items that are fit for purpose: a highly trained team of Enva engineers repairs, tests and approve products for re-distribution into the UK market only. (This is to ensure once they become unusable they will be compliantly recycled within the WEEE regulations). Recycle Appliances unsuitable for reuse are harvested for key components to be used in other reuse appliances. Any remaining components are converted into raw materials for use in the manufacturing and construction industries. #reduce #rteuse #refurbish #recycle #electrical #ewaste

The Norkam line of compact balers is well-suited for low-volume recyclers who handle materials such as cardboard, polythene film, and general waste in black bags. Options like the 4-5 tonne NK-60 and the 50 tonne NK-500, compaction force, these balers can compress waste into bales weighing between 30-60kg for the NK-60, and up to 500kg for the NK-500, achieving up to a 90% reduction in volume. The potential cost savings from using these balers are considerable. For example, paying for just one bin or skipping instead of ten could lead to substantial financial benefits.

Did you know you can influence inflation by recycling metal? 🤔📉 ♻️ It's true read below... Our world is becoming more electrified ⚡ and with that comes increased demand for metal (copper & aluminum) to conduct electricity. 📈 Ya ya ya so what's in it for me? 🤷 1. Get paid for your metal! 💰 Bringing your #scrapmetal (cans, appliances, vehicles, wires) to your local #recycling center (aka scrapyard) will result in bucks in your pocket! 🤑 2. Save money ⏬ Using recycled metal is cheaper than mining it! Increasing our recycling rate will result in lower manufacturing costs which reduces retail prices. Recycling is like Magic!

Nupur Recyclers Limited Expands into Metal Scraps Processing and Lithium-Ion Battery Recycling Nupur Recyclers Limited (NRL), a prominent name in the recycling and processing of non-ferrous metal scraps, has unveiled plans for a significant expansion into processing a broader range of metal scraps and entering the lithium-ion battery recycling market. This move aligns with the growing demand for sustainable and eco-friendly industrial practices, marking a strategic shift in the company’s operations to meet the evolving needs of both the market and environmental concerns. As part of its expansion, NRL plans to build a cutting-edge plant by 2027 dedicated to the processing of various metal scraps, as well as the recycling of lithium-ion […] - https://lnkd.in/dwahvrzT #automotive #evs #ev #electricmobility #emobility #ebikes #fleets #evfleet #evnews #autonews #electricvehicles #electricvehicle #automotiveindustry #automotivejobs #cleantech #cleanenergy #hydrogen #lithium #evbattery #sustainability #climatechange #evindustry #india #lithium-ionbattery #nupurrecyclerslimited #sustainable

More copper, more profit! Our customers report an average of over 10kg of copper wiring loom removed from each vehicle they process with our VRS car dismantlers. This means more profit from the recycling process and also less contamination of shredded material which results in a higher quality recycled steel product. #PowerhandAtWork #Recycling #ScrapMetal #ELV #CircularEconomy

❌️ Lithium batteries are the bane of our industry right now. So many of us either know someone, or have experienced a battery fire in our yards ourselves, and it's becoming more and more common. In the UK, Lithium-ion batteries discarded in domestic and business waste are responsible for an estimated 201 fires a year. And with the fast-pace of tech and the ease with which we discard our unwanted stuff these days, this figure is increasing weekly. And it's costing us a fortune too! 48 per cent of all waste fires now cost the UK economy £158m per annum. 💡 So please, please, please from all of us here in the metal recycling industry: if you're throwing something out, check that you're disposing of it properly. Lithium batteries should be disposed of safely (and legally!) by recycling them at a specialist centre or hazardous waste collection site. Many large shops and supermarkets have a collection point for portable batteries, including lithium batteries. You can also take them to a Recycle Your Electricals collection point. #Recycling #MetalRecycling #WomenInRecycling
