Exciting News! Enveda is running a Bio x ML Hackathon in partnership with Lux Capital and EvolutionaryScale from October 10-20. By bringing together the world’s top minds, we’re driving forward the next frontier of science with AI-driven tools and scientific imagination. Participants will have the opportunity to build with one of our datasets or leverage cutting-edge biological foundation models, like ESM3 (98B parameters), to advance next-generation biological applications. We’re providing access to powerful APIs, datasets, and compute resources, thanks to Amazon Web Services (AWS), OpenAI, DigitalOcean, EvolutionaryScale, Modal, LatchBio, Together AI, and RunPod. The hackathon is open to participants worldwide. Ready to make an impact? Start here: https://lnkd.in/g8bnjhgZ
How cool is it to be at a company developing new medicines that also runs hackathons!

2moWhat is going to *actually* be tested here? Just in silico design towards a solution to a problem? Will anything be brought into the real world as part of this challenge (ie. taking the bits and turning them into atoms)? Are the results open source/owned by the community, or will Enveda and/or EvolutionaryScale have the possibility to commercialize hits? These points are not clear at all.
