March 2024 Energy Update - Lee Harris https://lnkd.in/gDTAXvyV It's been a very strong time (that's the understatement of the year!), and everybody has been affected in different ways. But there are a few different themes that seem to be colliding now. Some of them have shown up in the last six months, but we have a lot of collision happening this month, in a positive way. Experiences and energies that have been playing out on the planet for recent months get a little clearer and a little more in focus and forward-moving as we begin March and go through the months of March and April - a little more open. Just a few of the themes for March are: ◦ Beyond the Norm - Is Now the New Normal? ◦ Jagged Energetics and how they are affecting us, and ◦ New Levels of Trusting Yourself and what that's going to do for your life. Stay tuned for the full Update. We'll explore all of these themes and several more, so be sure to watch the full #energyupdate. Lots of love, Lee x

The energy transition is progressing but has lost momentum in the face of increasing global uncertainty, according to the World Economic Forum's Fostering Effective Energy Transition 2024 report. The Energy Transition Index (ETI), which benchmarks 120 countries on their current energy system performance and on the readiness of their enabling environment, finds that while there has been notable progress in energy efficiency and a marked increase in the adoption of clean energy sources, energy transition momentum has been held back by setbacks in energy equity, driven by rising energy prices in recent years. Energy security also continues to be tested by geopolitical risks. https://lnkd.in/es8ju-EB

Energy density is vital in the modern world because energy use, ease of access, ease of use transportation runs our modern world. This graph speaks only of electricity production which is only about 10.4% as of 2019 according to the IEA. Wind and solar have no other applications. On the other hand oil has over 6,000 other applications and uses impacting virtually every area of life and demonstrably without which modern human existence would be impossible.
