Has the EA updated its internal processes when it comes to responding, as a statutory consultee, to any planning application that might be filed by a developer. I know of one development, in a flood risk area, with a single access point (in / on the borders of the flood risk area), and the EA expressed no concern at all

2moThere seems to be an acceptance by EA that flooding is now a normal occurrence we need to evolve defences Holland appears to not be impacted by the events and are equally subject to them perhaps we need a dedicated section formed to deal with these separated from the maze of EA responsibilities!!??
