Supported solely by tax-deductible monetary donations from clients, community members, and area foundations, CAS operates independently of government funding, ensuring flexibility in its operations while effectively serving the community's needs. 💼 ABOUT THE POSITION: The Director of Development at Convalescent Aid Society (CAS) holds a pivotal position that is crucial for propelling the organization's mission forward. It’s amazing how impactful learnings from fundraising can be… the variations between non-profit fundraising in direct or indirect (proxy) fashion… across wide spectrums of tax ID’s… what a play on words (ID, EGO, Super Ego)… or restrictive or less restrictive funds in organizations works fraught with systemic and political arms… or “corporate non-profits”… Or, the for profit side… bond creations and fundraising… or investors of various sorts with returns and the sugar rush of quant style day trading… or of high risk/returns. It’s not just ethereal… these streams and pools and various friction based fundraising or ideology engrossed linked to things like health funds or retirement, or housing… trickles or bottom up…vastly skewed processes. It’s a lot, but still workable.
