𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲! 𝗜𝗻 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆’𝘀 #𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘁, 𝗺𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲/𝗰𝗼-𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜’𝗺 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝗼. I often find myself working out of the office. Sometimes it’s because I need a change of scene. On other occasions, it’s because I’ve had face-to-face meetings and need to find somewhere to hunker down for a while. Over the years I’ve developed a short list of go-to coworking spaces, which I’m sharing now in case it’s helpful and in the hope you’ll help me extend my list by adding your favourites in the comments. 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘀 I love their business lounges. The last time I went, it was £25 for a full day, which gave me unlimited tea (always a good thing), speedy wifi and a business environment where making Zoom calls was acceptable. 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘂𝘀𝗲 You can use this website to book hotel rooms during the day (not as dodgy as it sounds!). Pick the time you want to arrive in the morning and leave in the afternoon, and you get a room for a fraction of the overnight cost. As most hotels offer free tea/coffee in the room and free wifi, it’s often a great deal. And means you get a comfortable working environment, especially if you have an afternoon full of Zoom calls. 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗻 𝗠 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘀 I love these hotels during the day (bloody pricy overnight though) because their membership is a tenner a month, which means I can sit in their hotels during the day, using their speedy wifi and charging all my devices. 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗻 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘀 If I’m staying away, I’ll generally use a Premier Inn. Not many people know that for just £10 you can check in from 11.00 am. That’s great value and I use it a lot. Finally, of course, we have my favourite corner in my favourite Nero (pic below) although after my run-in with another customer a couple of weeks ago, it’s off-limits for Zoom calls!
