The Complacency and Inefficiency in the Public Sector in PNG is Dragging the Operations of Private Sector into the Drain The operation of businesses in the Private Sector is directly dependent on the operation of the public sector for regulatory compliance, accessing services like energy, interpretations & implementation of laws and the list goes on. The laziness and inefficiency of people working in government departments and agencies like labour, immigration, PHAs, health, education, etc are dragging the operation of the private sector into the drain. If you want to bring the public sector into the drain because of your laziness & inefficiency, please do that, but do not bring the private sector with you to the drain. We need effective and efficient working relationship with public sector. When private sector asks for information, payment invoice, certificate of compliance, application for registrations etc, pull your socks up and do it sooner and effective. Bloody lazy folks occupying spaces with inefficiency and getting paid for being lazy and inefficient with the taxes of the private sector, and dragging the progress of the nation into the drain.
