Hi good afternoon everyone. I'm trying to stress out a Point here in regards to Trades Qualified Technical Professional Candidate Men and Women in PNG. I've seen lots of Recruiting Companies here in PNG whether they be Mining, Petroleum and Industrial Companies their Recruitment Officers are confused in the Trades Qualified Certificate from NATTB (National Apprenticeship Trades testing Board) asking unnecessary questions. Previously from the 1980s up to 2000 PETT College was there where one full year course was taken to Attain a PETT ( Pre-employment Technical Training)Certificate in the courses you've attended till the TTC (Tertiary Technical College) was implemented from year 2000 were courses were taken, one year, two years, six months and etc.....the difference between PETT candidates and the TTC candidates the PETT candidates will definitely have only one Tradesmen/Tradeswomen NATTB Certificate awarded to Trades people upon completion of Four years with company after company's recognition while TTC candidates will have three Tradesman/Tradeswomen which they normally sit for Level 1, 2 and 3 Certificate Trade Testing. I'm clearly stating this so the Recruitment officers can kindly see that all these candidates go through a four year Apprenticeship with various Companies whom they signed a Contract with. There is no difference in-between the Single Trades Certificate and the Three Attained Level 1, 2 and 3 Certificate. It's more Submissive to Confirm with the Companies they did their Apprentices with, NATTB Certificate Presenters or better Contact various Companies they've worked for when doing your recruitment Cross Reference Check. Thanks...

🌟 Celebrating Growth and Success 🌟 When I first met Dudu, she was a welder trainee working as a contractor. I immediately saw her potential. She was hardworking, dedicated, and willing to make sacrifices to achieve her goals. As we worked together on various projects, I took every opportunity to guide and mentor her, knowing she had the drive to succeed. Throughout the years, Dudu consistently took on every task with enthusiasm, no matter how small. She faced many difficult moments, but what set her apart was her resilience. We had countless conversations, and she always took my advice to heart, staying focused and motivated even through the toughest times. It’s been incredible to witness her journey. Dudu eventually joined the Sasol team on a permanent basis, and today, I am thrilled to share that she has grown into a Learning Practitioner and earned a well-deserved spot on our management team. 🙌 Her transformation has been nothing short of inspiring, and I couldn’t be prouder of her accomplishments. Dudu, you’ve always given your best, stuck with me, and never gave up. I'm honored to have been part of your journey, and I know there’s so much more success ahead for you. Here’s to the hard work paying off and even greater things to come! 🚀 #Mentorship #Leadership #Growth #CareerDevelopment #ProudMentor #TeamSuccess #LearningPractitioner #CareerJourney #SasolSuccess Duduzile Kulube

We were excited to have eight National Energy Technician Training Scheme (NETTS) apprentices recently visit us in Karratha 👷 The first-year apprentices, including instrument electricians, mechanical technicians, and process plant technicians, took part in a tour of the Karratha Gas Plant and King Bay Supply Base. Facilitated by our training partner Programmed Training Services, NETTS is a collaboration between several industry operators, including Woodside, to provide apprenticeship and career pathways. In 2025, we will host over 80 apprentices and trainees, including more than 20 new starters, through the Karratha Gas Plant’s Woodside Training Academy and NETTS as they build employable skills and experience.

For the first time, I got a time to address participants during SSGPA Monthly Seminar at Nile Petroleum Corporation under the theme Petroleum Leaders Of Tomorrow. South Sudanese Youth needs support for training, internship, knowledgetransfer & knowledge sharing to unlock opportunities for them to join different sectors. Infact South Sudanese services companies, NOC & IOC need improvement through local content policy that help development of technical capability of young generation of Geologists, Engineers & Energy professionals.

I am pleased to share that I have completed my summer internship in the field of mechanical engineering👷, which took place at the General Petroleum Company (GPC ) الشركة العامة للبترول at the site (رأس غارب - الصحراء الشرقيه - مصر ) . 🚩 Training content: • We learned about the different types of pumps, how they work, the components of each type, and the situations in which each type is used. • We visited the engineering workshop, where we got detailed information about diesel engines, their components, how they work, common malfunctions, and how to fix them. • After that, we visited the area of the large turbines and took a look at the heavy equipment used on-site. • Additionally, the site engineer provided a brief explanation of how petroleum materials are extracted from the ground, along with safety and precautionary guidelines. In conclusion, I would like to thank the General Petroleum Company for this valuable and beneficial training experience.❤️ #petroleum #mechanicalengineering #summertraining
