This partnership represents a shared commitment to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for our customers as they transition their pMDI portfolios to low Global Warming Potential (GWP) propellants HFA-152a & HFO-1234ze. This announcement builds on the recent launch of OzUK’s 𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐗-𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐭 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭, designed to advance the development of low GWP pMDI products using propellant HFA-152a. The facility enables the production of both solution and suspension batches at pilot scale using this new generation propellant. We were delighted to welcome a delegation from PETRONAS, following up on connections first established during our trade mission to Malaysia with Invest Northern Ireland. The Petronas team visited to review our progress on developing the Clean Power Hydrogen (CPH2) membrane-free electrolyser, which is scheduled for delivery on December 17, 2024, to Northern Ireland Water's Belfast site. The electrolyser will be integrated into our offline Oxygen Trial Plant. Petronas has also expressed interest in leveraging Ireland's abundant wind generation for electrolyser development and is exploring potential collaborations, building on their strong ties with Queen's University Belfast.

Eutelsat Group Exercises Its Put Option and Signs Share Purchase Agreement With EQT Infrastructure for the Sale of a Majority Stake in a New Entity That Will Hold Its Passive Ground Infrastructure Assets https://lnkd.in/ew7sb4Ni Eutelsat Group has exercised the put option signed with EQT Infrastructure VI fund (“EQT”) on 9th August 2024 regarding a majority stake in a newly created entity that will hold Eutelsat’s passive ground infrastructure assets. This decision follows the completion of the consultation processes with relevant employee representative bodies of Eutelsat. The exercise of the put option led to the signing of a binding Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) between Eutelsat and EQT.

Attending the CEG-FP meeting on 26th and 27th November was a valuable opportunity to represent EBIC and engage in discussions critical to the future of the biostimulant sector. Key topics included updates to CMC 7 (microorganisms), the inclusion of animal by-products in CMC 10, and the evolving FPR framework. The FAQ discussion also highlighted the importance of clarifying regulatory interpretations to ensure consistency and proportionality across the sector. These conversations are essential for shaping a harmonised and innovation-friendly regulatory framework for plant biostimulants in Europe.
