Just wrapped up my last breakout session at InfoSec World 2024. I attended so many inspiring talks, and shook the hands of even more amazing people. In the beginning, I definitely felt that "I don't deserve to be here," kind of thing. That feeling would probably have persisted if I hadn't instead reframed it more as appreciating being surrounded by people who were doing things I aspire to do, and how much you can learn in those kind of situations. Being around so many brilliant, talented people can be daunting. Mindset is key. Stagnation vs movement. Stall or grow. Choose your own adventure.
