#snsinstitutions #snsdesignthinkers #snsdesignthinking 3-D object modelling In 3D computer graphics, 3D modeling is the process of developing a mathematical coordinate-based representation of a surface of an object (inanimate or living) in three dimensions via specialized software by manipulating edges, vertices, and polygons in a simulated 3D space.[1][2][3] Three-dimensional (3D) models represent a physical body using a collection of points in 3D space, connected by various geometric entities such as triangles, lines, curved surfaces, etc.[4] Being a collection of data (points and other information), 3D models can be created manually, algorithmically (procedural modeling), or by scanning.[5][6] Their surfaces may be further defined with texture mapping.

Having fun with ArUco markers. Some of you may know I build smart vision cameras, cameras with the image processing build in, that is. Can I detect and determine camera location reliably with my embedded vision cameras? No control over illumination or the scene contents. What kind of accuracy can be achieved? Could it be used for an indoor quadcopter navigation system? So I 3D printed a quadcopter, wrote some code and here's my first attempt at it. What do you think? The whiskey in view is the Dutch "Hemel & Hellevuur", first cask.
