Rasterized Pexels image This is done by determining which pixels on a screen or image plane correspond to the geometric shapes being represented, and then setting the color or other attributes of those pixels according to the desired appearance of the shapes. In other words, when an image is rasterized, it is converted from a series of mathematical or geometric descriptions to a grid of individual pixels, each with a specific color or other attribute. This process is commonly used in digital image processing, video game graphics, and many other applications where high-quality, realistic images are needed. Eigenmode analysis is a crucial step in designing gearboxes. KISSsoft offers a user-friendly way to calculate eigenfrequencies, either at the single shaft calculation level, or at the whole system level. Both modules provide 2D and 3D graphics, aiding in the understanding of the excited eigenmodes corresponding to each eigenfrequency. This analysis is essential for identifying ways to mitigate the risk of exciting an eigenfrequency. It's important to note that eigenmode analysis at the system level is necessary to accurately account for the excitation by the non-constant stiffness of the gear mesh. Additionally, the bearing stiffness significantly impacts eigenmodes. Therefore, it is recommended to calculate the bearings using their inner geometry.
