World Kindness Day reminds us that making a big difference takes little time. Throughout my career, I've seen how even the smallest acts of compassion can transform challenges into opportunities and build lasting relationships. Some of my favorite moments have been: • A quick word of encouragement to a struggling team member • Taking an extra minute to listen to really listen to a client's concerns • Sending a brief note of appreciation to a colleague These simple gestures, often taking less than a minute, have ripple effects that last far longer. As Maya Angelou said, "Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud." Today, I challenge you to do one small act of kindness in the next 60 seconds. Remember, "No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted." Share your ideas - how do you spread kindness in your workday? #WorldKindnessDay #SimpleKindness #LeadWithCompassion #WKD #Lockton #DicksonSolutions

You know everything is a choice! Right? You get to choose how you are going to think, act, feel and behave every day when you wake up. What do you choose? Happy/ Sad Grumpy/ Glad Why do you choose it? It's a lot less stressful being happy How do you choose it? Well... You just decide. You are the only person who can choose how you are going to travel through your day. Will you allow yesterdays problem cloud todays joy? Why? for what purpose? Life is so much more fun when you wake up and affirm. Today will be a magnificent day - then go and make it happen. Sometimes you have to be as Resilient AF, dig deep and find something to be happy about and if not happy, at least be grateful... for something. Then get on with your day. If you choose it, it will be. #resilience #wisdom #choosehappy #resilienceabilities #beyou #mentalwellbeing #storybridgeclimb #60things

Turbulence in Life A cup of water I held spilled when my son bumped into me. This brought some thoughts to mind: had there been no water in the cup, would I have caused this mess? Life is same really: what have we filled ourselves - our cups - with all these years? At work, what do we load ourselves with? At home, what do you fill ourselve with? Dare I ask what we fill ourselves up with in all our various relationships? Lessons to learn: 1. There will always be turbulence in life. Let's be prepared. 2. What we spill will depend on what we have filled our cups with - More good stuff over bad ones? 3. Ask this question - do I have a choice as to what goes into my cup? The answer is yes. 4. Gratitude is something to be felt in EVERY circumstance. That saying, there is a silver lining in every dark cloud, really is true. Things happen but how we will react and what lessons we learn from those events, will always be up to us.

Healing is a personal journey that looks different for everyone. There's no timeline, no set path, and no "right" way to heal. Whether you're taking small steps or making big strides, every bit of progress is valid. It's okay to feel vulnerable, to take your time, and to move forward in your own way. Don't let anyone else's expectations or judgments cloud your journey. Your healing is your own, and it’s something to be proud of, not ashamed of. Celebrate the steps you’ve taken in your healing journey. How have you honored your process? Share your story and support others on their path to self-discovery. #HealingWithoutShame #SelfEmpowerment #OwnYourJourney #SelfLove #HealingJourney #MentalHealthAwareness #EmbraceYourPath #NoShameInHealing #PersonalGrowth #SelfAcceptance #VulnerabilityIsStrength #EmotionalHealing #SelfCare #HealingProcess #MentalWellness #InnerStrength #HonorYourJourney #ProgressIsProgress #SelfCompassion #HealingTakesTime #SelfReflection #MentalResilience #OvercomeShame #HealingPower #EmbraceYourself #CelebrateYourJourney #HealingSpace #YouAreEnough

Happy Thanksgiving from Corvirtus! 🍂 As we enjoy the Thanksgiving weekend in the United States, our team took the abstracts from some of the most recent studies on gratitude to create this word frequency cloud. A (very) quick review of these studies shared a compelling reason to make gratitude a daily practice: professionally and personally. Appreciative reflection boosts brain connectivity fostering greater empathy, cooperation, and even our ability to act with courage and integrity. 🔔 In fact, gratitude may influence our overall well-being and happiness by downregulating how we respond to threats (i.e., telling our amygdala and stress centers to chill) calming inflammatory responses. Those actions on a cellular level mirror what we see with behavior: gratitude contributing to greater resilience, collaboration, and empathy for those around us. We wish everyone moments of peace, reflection, and rest this holiday. #happythanksgiving #gratitudepractice #iopsychology #positivepsychology🍁

Have you ever found yourself lost in thoughts about what has happened or what might happen? It's natural to think about the past or the future, but when we do it too much, it can take away from the present moment. Being present means focusing on what's happening right now, without letting worries or regrets cloud your mind. When you're fully present, you can enjoy things more and do them better because your mind is free to concentrate. So, try to be in the moment and give whatever you're doing your full attention. #motivation #motivationalwords #inspiredaily #inspiration #motivationalspeaker #focusonyourself #focusonpresent #enjoylife #thoughts #staypositive #positivevibes #mindsetiseverything #mindsetiskey #growthmindset #selfimprovement #liveinpresent #confidence #trustyourself #shihengyi #mulliganbrothers #wisdom #theethicalminds #moments #memories #lifejourney
