If you want to know how existing infrastructures can be used economically, take a look at the Lower Franconian district town of #Haßfurt, a pioneer of the #energy transition. A #hydrogen production plant based on our proven #EHS technology is currently being built here. Together with the Helmoltz Institute Erlangen-Nuremberg (HI ERN) and the Institute for Energy Technology (IfE) at the East Bavarian Technical University Amberg Weiden, we are realizing a #pilot project for #hydrogen separation from the municipal gas network in Hassfurt. The INSPIRE project, funded by Horizon Europe under the Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership, is officially launched and moving forward! In May, the project partners gathered in Trondheim, Norway, to kick off this exciting journey towards innovation in offshore wind-based hydrogen production.
