Abu Dhabi Made it onto the Latest New York Times’ Prestigious “52 Places to Go” List… The New York Times, widely regarded as a reputable and influential publication, known for its high journalistic standards, has been publishing its annual “52 Places to Go” list since 2001, making it a tradition for over 20 years. Originally, the list was a more general travel guide, but it evolved into the now-iconic “52 Places” format, focusing on one destination for each week of the year. This long-running series has become a highly anticipated resource for travelers, showcasing destinations that are culturally, historically, or environmentally significant for the year ahead. Mobility Grants Program / Testimony! Reminder; the deadline for host institutions to validate the applications for the 7th call for mobility grants before final evaluation by the steering committee is on the 15th of March. Maria Maya Ertl, Brand Manager for Schönbrunn Group, was able to spend a few days of professional exchange within multiple departments of the Château de Versailles. Thinking of changes within the cultural environment brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic and the economic crisis and how those affect palace visitors, Maria had this to say ➡ “In the cultural environment, where no ‚typical product’ but a service is being sold, the brand serves as a guide and creates emotions. Brand interaction should lead to a positive experience in which the customer expectations are not only met but also (ideally) exceeded.[…] Changes in people's lifestyles and the supply chain of businesses led to new phenomena and consumers began to examine products, services and brands from a new perspective. The brands on the one hand need to stay authentic and in alignment with their core values, but on the other hand they should be ‘fluid’ enough to be able to face this paradigm shift.” 🌎 Access further information on the website of the Network of European Royal Residences right here : https://lnkd.in/eTPwy3we #networking #career #development #grants #testimony #patrimoine #heritage

Day 8 of embracing the wonders of life! This picture, taken a few weeks ago, captures the castle "The Haar," located near Utrecht in the Netherlands. Built in 1890 by Etienne Gustave Frédéric Baron van Zuylen van Nyevelt van de Haar and his wife, Baroness Hélène de Rothschild, this castle stands as a testament to their vision. Etienne inherited the ruined castle from his grandfather and, with Hélène's family financing, they rebuilt it into a magnificent structure. What sets this castle apart is its blend of historical grandeur and modern innovation. Equipped with advanced technology for its time, such as electrical lighting powered by its own generator and steam central heating, it is recognized internationally as an industrial monument. This harmony of respecting historical roots while embracing future advancements is a lesson in preserving legacy while fostering progress. Similarly, in our businesses, we should honor past achievements while continuously modernizing for the future, ensuring that valuable intellectual assets and business processes are preserved and enhanced. On a personal note, this picture also represents fatherly pride. My son was responsible for the day-to-day operations of a significant "Italy" event hosted at the castle, managing over 20,000 attendees a day. His success demonstrates the power of combining passion and skill in an inspiring environment, proving that one can truly shine when aligned with what they love to do.
