They highlighted a significant trend: prices on menus at upscale restaurants have seen a notable increase of 3.8% over the past year. Meanwhile, fast-food joints aren't far behind, experiencing a substantial 5.2% hike in their menu prices during the same period. In stark contrast, prices for groceries and at-home cooking essentials have risen by just 1%.
