Well, hello there! I’ve been traversing the vast expanse of the digital universe and happened upon this curious thing we call Google Reviews, truly a fascinating territory. Here’s how I see it: • An unruly jungle filled with wild opinions, or.. • A magnificent tapestry woven by voices from around the globe. Everyone has their two cents to chip into the treasure chest of the World Wide Web: 🔸 “The tacos were too spicy. The supernovas of fresh perspectives. 🔹 “Just couldn’t get enough of the kickboxing classes. Those seeking out uncharted territories. 🔸 “Sparkly clean, the hotel made me feel like a Hollywood star.” The intrepid adventurers. And, isn’t that the beauty of it? A digital public square where every star shines on its own, but also adds to the brilliant constellation that guides our decisions. Whether it's seeking out spicy tacos or searching for our next starry vacation... It encourages us to take a moment, step out from our busy lives and share our voice. It inspires us to create our own guides and help others navigate. So go ahead, let your star shine bright, be the guide for someone’s experience. To Google Reviews, the silent hero of our online explorations! 🌟🌍🚀 #GoogleReviews #Voices #Experience

One of the most convincing observations I had before joining Notion was how obsessed the community and customers were with the product. At Notion, we're not just building software; we're crafting a culture that celebrates connection, creativity, and the power of shaping our own tools. We're excited to share a glimpse of what that feels like ✨ Interested in helping shape the future of work? Check out the open roles in the comments below: https://lnkd.in/gb9ThFeW

Last week, I moderated a Product Ops HQ panel discussion with Dave Dunning Alex Nichols and Miguel Elizaga. Our panel focus was how Product Operations not only supports but actively drives revenue growth through strategic alignment, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration. Here are our topics to push you to listen our discussion here: https://lnkd.in/g9yJF3sM - Strategic Alignment is Crucial: Aligning product strategy with business objectives is essential for ensuring that every initiative contributes directly to broader business goals. - Balancing Innovation with Execution: Innovation drives progress, but executing these ideas requires balancing immediate business needs with long-term growth. Product operations play a critical role in maintaining this balance, ensuring that innovation aligns with strategic goals. - Cross-functional Collaboration: The magic happens when cross-functional teams — from sales and marketing to R&D — work seamlessly under a unified strategy. Product operations facilitate this integration, focusing on optimizing product delivery and maximizing impact. Let’s continue the conversation - share your thoughts!

On the topic of milestones… Celebrating milestones and sharing words of inspiration with the next generation is a humbling experience. Recently, I had the honor of addressing the 8th grade graduating class at my grammar school on the South Side of Chicago. The pressure was intense, but if my words could inspire even one student, I knew I was carrying the torch of my mentors. During my speech, I emphasized a few key points: -The work starts now: Everyone you meet from now on is a potential resource for your future. Networking isn’t just a corporate behavior. -It’s OK to want more: I was raised to challenge norms but ironically also raised as a Latina to just be grateful and happy with what I have. I was discouraged to study abroad, move to NY, leave my ‘great job at X company’ and move to Paris. Whew! Just imagine what my life would be like if I actually listened. -The walls are made of paper: Through the many times it felt like I hit a wall, I eventually learned that those walls are a facade. They’re made of paper and they’re meant to be torn down. -Own your identity and take up space: Fitting in is hard when you don’t share common ground with the majority. Eventually I realized my differences are my superpower. I’d love to have known and felt that way earlier in life. -And finally, your world is bigger than Chicago: Oh man what a city! With all my friends and family there, it was so hard to leave but I have no regrets. I’ve grown and thrived in my two other cities of residence Paris and NYC. If you yearn for an exit GO GO GO. Reflecting on my journey was timely as I mark FOUR YEARS at TikTok today. The experience has been a whirlwind, equivalent to eight years of work in just four. Collaborating with incredible individuals to build this groundbreaking business has been an experience of a lifetime. There are WAY too many people to share gratitude with. So to all of you who have challenged me, encouraged me and have partnered with me I am grateful for the support and inspiration. Cheers to continuous growth and progress!

I landed on Google today and found an interesting Doodle game celebrating popcorn, so I decided to try it. Though I didn’t succeed on my first attempt, I quickly realized the game mirrors life in many ways. Its playful approach is about navigating challenges—dodging obstacles, avoiding getting "popped," and using your unique skills to push forward. In life, as in the game, survival is not just about standing still; it’s about adapting to an ever-changing environment. We learn to shield ourselves from setbacks, heal from failures, and sometimes, we need to catch challenges head-on and throw them back. It reminds me how growth emerges from resilience, much like a kernel transforming into popcorn when heated by the pressure of experience. There were moments in the game where I had to rely on others, standing behind someone for cover or working with teammates, just as in life where collaboration often becomes essential. At other times, the obstacles had to be faced alone, drawing on the skills and strengths we’ve honed over the years. I played this game after a thoughtful conversation with my mentor, Saket Govind, who shared an invaluable lesson: when facing a moo point at any juncture of your life, instead of looking for faults in others or external circumstances, first search within. This advice resonated deeply as I reflected on how, just like in the game, life’s true progress comes when we focus on what we can control and improve from within. In the end, life is much like that quirky Doodle—full of unexpected twists and challenges, but always offering opportunities to grow if we embrace the journey.
