We have developed the BuildEstimate AI product - an AI-based solution for the construction business, specializing in estimating construction costs for clients, offering the following features: Cost estimation of materials and labor: AI utilizes a database with material prices and labor cost norms for automatic calculation of each project element's cost. This allows for quick and accurate assessment of material and labor expenses. Project-specific requirements consideration: The product takes into account the client's specific requirements, such as the use of certain materials, technical solutions, or quality standards. This provides a personalized approach to preparing estimates. Automatic creation of estimate documents: AI automatically generates estimate documents with detailed breakdowns of expenses for each work stage and project element. This saves time and reduces the likelihood of errors. Update and adjustment of estimates: In case of changes in project conditions or requirements, AI automatically adjusts the estimate and updates cost estimates. This ensures the relevance of information for the client and reduces the need for manual document revisions. Cost analysis and budget optimization: The product analyzes the proposed estimate and offers cost optimization options, such as material substitution, changes in technological processes, or resource rationalization. This helps clients make informed decisions about their budget. In comparison to real employees who may spend several days or even weeks preparing estimates, the AI product is capable of processing information much faster, practically instantaneously. This enables a reduction in the time required for estimate preparation and accelerates the decision-making process for the client. https://4co.no #ConstructionAI #EstimationAutomation #BuildingCosts #ConstructionIndustry #AIinConstruction #BuildingProjects #CostEstimation #ConstructionTechnology #InvestmentOpportunity #BusinessOwners #SmartBuilding #Efficiency #ConstructionManagement #Innovation #BudgetOptimization #SmartInvesting #DigitalTransformation #AIAdvancements #ConstructionInnovation #BuildingIndustry

I was talking with some designers this weekend and shared my view that there will be even more need for great design in the future, not less. Why? When things become cheap/free and fast, humans tend to want more of it. Software will get cheaper and faster and, as a result, there's just going to be a whole lot more of it. There are going to be more services and more software in our things, and much of it is going to badly need great design to differentiate it. I'm not sure they bought my argument 😋 but maybe they'll listen to Fast Company: Why Designers Should Embrace AI TL;DR 1) Automate the mundane: AI can handle tedious tasks, allowing designers to focus more on creativity and delivering faster results for clients. 2) Improve work quality: While AI won’t replace professionals, it can act as an extra set of eyes to ensure accuracy and enhance work. 3) Accelerate impactful changes: AI can speed up processes like traffic analysis, allowing for quicker, safer design decisions. Designing for AI-Powered Products: Balancing Human Intuition with Machine Intelligence As AI continues to permeate every aspect of technology, designing products that seamlessly integrate AI is becoming one of the biggest challenges—and opportunities—in the software design world. Creating AI-powered products requires more than just understanding the technical aspects of AI. It’s about designing interfaces and experiences that feel natural, intuitive, and helpful to the user, even when complex algorithms are running in the background. Here are a few key considerations when designing for AI-powered products: 1. Transparency in AI Decisions: Users need to understand how AI-driven decisions are made. This means providing clear, understandable explanations without overwhelming them with technical jargon. 2. Ethical Design Practices: AI can influence user behavior in powerful ways. Designers must ensure that AI is used ethically, avoiding biases and ensuring fairness and inclusivity in its application. 3. Human-AI Collaboration: The best AI designs don’t replace human intuition—they enhance it. The goal is to create a harmonious relationship where AI augments the user’s capabilities, not dictate them. 4. Continuous Learning: AI products are not static; they evolve with data. Designers must create flexible interfaces that can adapt as the AI learns and improves over time. 5. User Trust: Trust is the cornerstone of any AI product. By focusing on reliability, transparency, and ethical considerations, designers can build products that users trust and rely on. AI is reshaping how we approach product design, and those who can balance machine intelligence with human-centric design will lead the way in this new era. P.S. How are you incorporating AI into your design process? I'd love to hear your experiences—share in the comments! #ProductDesign #AIDesign #UXDesign #AIinProductDesign #HumanCenteredDesign #MachineLearning #DesignThinking #DigitalProductDesign #EthicalAI #DesignInnovation

🏢Architects: Regarding AI - Are you too busy fearing the downsides to consider the upside? AI isn’t just about automating parts of the design process—it’s about transforming how we operate across the entire practice. While some architects may only focus on the potential risks, other industries are seizing the opportunity, using AI to transform everything from business operations to team collaboration. So why limit AI to projects? AI's versatility extends far beyond design, and its real power lies in how it can enhance our collective intelligence—how we learn, communicate, and make decisions as a practice. For example, in industries like finance and manufacturing, AI automates repetitive administrative tasks, optimizes workflows, and helps teams focus on strategic priorities. In firms, AI has the potential to handle back-office operations, analyze project data, and automate resource management, freeing up your time to do what you do best: create. It’s about evolving into a more agile, informed, and coordinated team capable of delivering more value to clients and communities. The question isn’t whether AI will change our profession—it’s how we choose to leverage it to shape the future of our practices. By embracing AI to build collective memory, streamline attention, and align reasoning, we can unlock new efficiencies, innovate faster, and, ultimately, stay ahead of the competition. How can AI enhance your practice beyond just projects? What are you already leveraging AI for, or what’s holding you back? _____________________ Hi, 👋🏻 I'm Evelyn Lee, FAIA | NOMA I've been on the client side for over a decade and have spent the last five years in tech, helping create exceptional employee experiences while growing the business. Today, AI is about creating efficiency at work. Fewer units of costs (i.e. people's time) are required to produce a business outcome (i.e. build software, sell a product, run a marketing campaign, etc.). What companies do with the time savings is their choice. I suspect that the most successful ones will reinvest back into growth, empowering teams to take on bigger and more audacious projects. AI is leading to a golden age of enterprise productivity. Chat with us at Glean to learn more! #genai #ai #llm #rag

In today's fast-paced digital landscape, productivity is paramount, and AI is revolutionizing how we work. I've experienced firsthand the remarkable benefits of integrating AI into my workflow, particularly with GPT-4 Vision for analyzing landing page designs. Picture this scenario: You're embarking on a new project and need your landing page to be both visually appealing and optimized for user engagement. Traditionally, this would require hours of manual analysis, A/B testing, and fine-tuning. However, GPT-4 Vision streamlines this process, making it significantly more efficient. By simply uploading your landing page design, GPT-4 Vision provides detailed insights into various elements such as layout, color schemes, and user interface components. It predicts user behavior, suggests improvements, and highlights potential issues that might otherwise go unnoticed. This not only saves time but also enhances the overall quality of the design. The outcome? A more effective landing page that drives better user engagement and higher conversion rates. This efficiency allows you to focus on other critical aspects of your project, ultimately boosting productivity and delivering superior results. While GPT-4 Vision offers a significant boost in efficiency and quality, it's essential to remember that it's not a magic bullet. Iteration is key. Continuously gathering and incorporating user feedback and analytics data is crucial for refining your designs. By improving based on real-world data, you ensure that your AI-enhanced creations remain relevant and effective. This iterative approach allows you to adapt to changing user preferences and emerging trends, leading to a more polished and successful end product. AI isn't just a tool; it's a catalyst for innovation and efficiency in our daily work. Embrace it, and watch your productivity soar.
