Looking forward to contributing to this. Amongst other things, we'll be discussing how culture, and cultural competence, is the next marginal gain in high performance coaching. As an Edinburgh resident, anything billed as on a par with the fringe is well worth a look! Hope to see some of my sport connections there!

📢 Exciting Friday News 📢 Over the last 6 months, we have been busy building the UKs first Coaching Festival - think Glastonbury meets Edinburgh Fringe meets Sports Coaching. The Festival will take place during the last week in June (23rd - 29th) in 2024 in the great City of Manchester. We are delighted to be partnering with MCRactive to bring the Festival to life. We're committing to 100 learning opportunities across the week - conferences, hangouts, walks, workshops, observations. 50 of these will be curated specifically and 50 of these will be showcasing and highlighting existing coaching practice in the City. We're going to be at skate parks and coffee shops, swimming pools and MUGAs, velodromes and clubhouses, high performance centres and youth clubs. We're taking an unapologetic and unwavering approach to helping coaches with knowledges, expertise and wisdom to support EEDI, adults coaching adults, #PlayTheirWay and inspiring the next generation. We're partnering with Sport England UK Coaching CIMSPA and #GMMoving; we're collaborating with NGBs like the FA, British Gymnastics, Boccia England, England Netball, England Futsal, and the LTA; we're aligning ambitions with Activity Alliance, StreetGames, Coach Core Foundation, and Legacy Leaders; and we're convening some of the best Coaching Avengers in the System like Phoebe Schecter Russell Earnshaw Paul Garner Kirk Vallis Born Barikor Justyn Price Will Roberts Sergio Lara-Bercial Paul Reddish OBE Sarah Green John Folwell Stuart Armstrong Dr Jane Booth Leanne Norman Richard Cheetham MBE to sprinkle their magic too! If you'd like to be involved, please let us know Dean Hardman Beth Jenkinson-Garner
