As life evolves, we go through countless experiences, picking up both good and bad habits along the way. These habits often reflect how we respond to the world around us.
We are proud to bring back Unlearning Week for its second year—an opportunity to pause and reflect on what we’ve learned and practiced throughout our lives, particularly in our career journeys. Have we truly grown into better versions of ourselves? Have we taken time to assess our personal growth and align it with the growth mindset we’ve set up to achieve?
This year, we are shining a spotlight on multiple talents within our organization who have amplified their impact. Their personal stories offer fresh perspectives for those navigating obstacles and challenges, inspiring all of us to persevere and strive for continuous improvement.
Unlearning Week serves as a powerful reminder to unlock our full potential. This year, we’re introducing thought-provoking topics to help us to grow further, including:
- Building engagement through active listening
- Understanding financial metrics for non-finance professionals,
- Developing agility to drive and adapt to changes, and
- Creating effective stakeholder engagement strategies.
Learning from feedback gathered across, we sincerely wish that the learning series prepared in this event have been insightful.
I also hope to take this opportunity to thank whose who has shared their journeys and experiences in this event: Amy C., Miryl Parker, Vishal Narain Thulasidhar, Esmond Yan, Wanqi Zeng, Mark Rook, Qiang Lu & Karen Y..
And of course, those who has been contributing behind the scene, our core members such as Anne Lopez, AFPM, Davin Dhanraj, Nan Phau Wai, Darat Jitprasong Kasinee (Fah) Khongdee, Esmond Yan and Jessie Chen. Together with local support by Bryony Duncan-Smith, Marc Fisk, Corinna Hinz, Seraya Larkin, Weili Chan, Amit Rawat and Mary Joyce Maloles. Backstage contribution is critical to ensure this event to be successful!
Lastly, if I may encourage everyone, allow yourself to have take some time to reflect, learn, and unlearn, as we continue our journeys toward becoming the better versions of ourselves.
