But here’s the real deal recently: 🟥 Lost my biggest client (my mistake entirely). 🟥 Missed landing a huge project to another agency. 🟥 Four YouTube videos I shot? ➡️ Are you thinking outside the box when choosing talent - and pieces of content? When Silverstone came to us to work on their first creator-led campaign, we were equally scared and thrilled - how are we going to broaden F1's audience? After months of working with the incredible in-house team and endless strategy planning, we realised the best-performing talent - and pieces of content - were completely different to what we initially had in mind. How did we make sure we were leveraging our findings? 1️⃣ Test: when working in a new industry or with a 'virgin' client, we go safe with circa 70% of our strategy and a bit more 'rogue' with the rest. Why? Because it's the only way to test riskier avenues - high risk, high reward. 2️⃣ Pivot: Being a small agency, we are super agile should any changes be needed. This helped us focus on the content that was performing and dig deeper into the reasons behind it. 3️⃣ Repeat: strategise, test, and pivot again if needed until you've fine-tuned a combination that works - and this may be very different from what you initially had in mind.
