When healthcare meets showmanship: At ASTRO 2024 (American Society for Radiation Oncology), our medical imaging clients broke the mold with their "Totally Rad" booth experience. From interactive demos to a stage with countdown clock and professional emcee, every element was crafted to engage and inspire. The packed crowds and buzzing social media proved that even highly regulated industries can create unforgettable trade show moments. 🔬 The accompanying User Meeting added to the excitement with industry expert presentations and our creative touch. Our team delivered: • A high-energy, on theme "RAD" launch for both the trade show and user meeting • Executive coaching • Dynamic lighting and fog effects • Professional emcee hosting • A dramatic countdown experience to deliver anticipation and excitement on the show floor • Compelling video content that extended the impact beyond the event 🎥 • And much more! This event, thanks to our clients, was one of the highlights of our year, and a success story that reinforces a crucial lesson: when you combine a strong theme, clear vision, strategic activation, and bold creative choices, you create lasting impact that translates to measurable business results. Medical trade show and events are a different beast because they present unique regulatory challenges. But they also offer opportunities for innovation within these boundaries. Here is our recent blog that every healthcare exhibitor should read! https://lnkd.in/gx4ZA4tR #EventProfs #HealthcareExhibitors #EventMarketing #ASTRO

Here is a closer look on a procedure done in Endoscopy Program Trainings. Endoscopy Technician student Victor Martinez, under the guidance of program director Tim Shallcross, demonstrates how to perform a Cold Snare Polypectomy (CSP) through a flexible endoscope's working channel. A cold snare polypectomy, a form of endoscopic resection, is recommended for removing diminutive polyps less than 5 mm or noncancerous polyps up to 10 mm in size during a colonoscopy. This procedure, utilizing a wire loop, aids in reducing the incidence and mortality rate of colorectal cancer by effectively capturing and cutting these small polyps without the need for a hot snare. The extracted tissue is subsequently analyzed to assess the risk of malignancy, contributing to colorectal cancer prevention. #endoscopy #learning #training #aimseducation https://zurl.co/vLnl

🎊 The ESMO Congress 2024 in Barcelona from September 13-17! 🎊 This year's congress is packed with fascinating discussions on the latest trends in oncology, including various promising approaches to new drug development that could potentially revolutionize cancer treatment. I will be thrilled to attend and hear the First Frontier's success story and feel their humble time during the long journey to develop new drugs. I am excited to hear their history on the most anticipated subjects and the interim clinical trial status, which will provide us with a glimpse of the potential impact of these trials on cancer treatment! 1) Bispecific Antibodies & TIGIT Inhibitors: These are gaining significant attention, particularly in their role in immunotherapy. Bispecific antibodies, which can target two different antigens, are seen as potential game changers for treatments like triple-negative breast cancer and non-small cell lung cancer. 2) Artificial Intelligence in Cancer Care: AI continues to reshape precision oncology, offering new ways to tailor treatments more effectively. I think the potential impact of AI in cancer care is immense, and this session will provide a comprehensive overview of its current and future applications. 3) Antibody-Drug Conjugates (ADCs): These are emerging as vital for targeting solid tumors. ADCs offer a promising approach for cancers like breast, salivary gland, and gynecological cancers. 4) Radioligand Therapies and Synthetic Lethality: New advancements in radioligand therapies, which target specific proteins in cancer cells, and research on synthetic lethality assets are expected to generate interest, particularly for hard-to-treat cancers. These topics reflect the broader trends in oncology research, including immunotherapy, personalized treatment approaches, and innovative diagnostic methods. I look forward to deepening my understanding and fostering potential collaborations at this global event, where the investigator's expertise and insights are highly valued. 🔗 There is still time to register for hashtag #ESMO24 https://ow.ly/pT9350ThaVv #CRO #ClinicalTraial #CNRResearch #GlobalCRO #CNR #ESMO24

Integrated optical tweezers have the potential to enable highly-compact, low-cost, mass-manufactured, and broadly-accessible optical manipulation when compared to standard bulk-optical tweezers. However, integrated demonstrations to date have been fundamentally limited to micron-scale standoff distances and, often, passive trapping functionality, making them incompatible with many existing applications and significantly limiting their utility, especially for biological studies. In this work, the authers demonstrate optical trapping and tweezing using an integrated OPA for the first time, increasing the standoff distance of integrated optical tweezers by over two orders of magnitude compared to prior demonstrations. First, the authors demonstrate trapping of polystyrene microspheres 5 mm above the surface of the chip and calibrate the trap force. Next, the authors show tweezing of polystyrene microspheres in one dimension by non-mechanically steering the trap by varying the input laser wavelength. Finally, the authors use the OPA tweezers to demonstrate, to the best of our knowledge, the first cell experiments using single-beam integrated optical tweezers, showing controlled deformation of mouse lymphoblast cells. This work introduces a new modality for integrated optical tweezers, significantly expanding their utility and compatibility with existing applications, especially for biological experiments. https://lnkd.in/gUntBhme
