The world wants to know if Donald Trump will become the 47th president. He is the candidate for some hard-core MAGA Americans. Yet, he also attracts the attention of the rest of the world. Nothing of that sort can be said for his opponent. The world is currently embroiled in two Biden wars. Ukrainians, Israelis, and Palestinians became sacrificial lambs. Most everyone with common sense in America and beyond would like these atrocities to come to an end. Trump gives hope that he can do that. Can anyone ponder if his opponent can? Never mind she was there with Joe Biden when "poor slobs" were thrown under the bus! Some will also ask where she was when Joe was not there!

In a joint letter, published on Wednesday this week, more than 100 Republican former national security and foreign policy officials endorsed Kamala Harris for president. Among other things, they wrote the following: "We firmly oppose the election of Donald Trump. As President, he promoted daily chaos in government, praised our enemies and undermined our allies, politicized the military and disparaged our veterans, prioritized his personal interest above American interests, and betrayed our values, democracy, and this country’s founding documents. In our view, by inciting the violent attack on the Capitol on January 6, 2021 and defending those who committed it, he has violated his oath of office and brought danger to our country." Of course, I think they have a good point. However, they did not include other possible factors such as "insanity", "mental illness", "cognitive decline" or "dementia" in their reasoning for not endorsing No. 45. Below is a direct transcript of another of his unhinged rants - this time at the town hall in Flint, MI, on Tuesday this week. In the rant he once again mentions "the fake news", who "likes to say" that he is "rambling". However, if he by "the fake news" means the MSM, I disagree. I would almost say that they dislike to report on his rambling. The contrast to all the writing about president Biden's age and mental decline couldn't have been more clear. (In my view, no one has written more brilliantly about this contrast than Brian Klaas: https://lnkd.in/dppTgxuT). And now I see that Harris and Walz are criticized for "hiding from the press" - while No. 45 can say whatever he wants. Again: Did I hear "double standards"? #VeryStableGenius #pathocracy #autocracy #ochlocracy #theocracy #democracy #pleasewakeup

New Deal Swing in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 30th at 7:30pm? Where is Franklin Delano Roosevelt? Where are the New Deal Democrats? Lara Trump recently stated the Democrats seeking to oust and replace Joe Biden at the 2024 Democratic National Convention obstructs the democratic process. That's something ironic to be hearing something like that from somebody like her. US Presidential Candidates accuse each other of being a threat of democracy as they themselves claim to be the champions of democracy. Candidates for elected office accuse each other of being a threat to democracy all they while they themselves claim to be champions of democracy. Political parties accuse each other of being a threat to democracy as they themselves claim to be the advocates of democracy. But, unlike the rest of them and those political organizations, I do not hide myself behind the mirage. I am openly and unapologetically undemocratic. I am openly and unapologetically antidemocratic. I am undemocratic and antidemocratic because I see democracy for what it is actually; a threat to peace, liberty, and prosperity. If you want world peace, Republicanism is the answer and solution. If you want liberty across the globe, Republicanism is the answer and solution. If you want world prosperity, Republicanism is the answer and solution. I explain this more in the July 2024 Newsletter from the Volksdeutsch Amerikaner Republikaner. https://lnkd.in/gFE5MbSC

Very good summary by NYT editorial board. This US election isn’t about policies. It is the judgement of character. And It’s not the institutions that matter. Leaders matter. The character of one person matters. Words matter and should be taken seriously as they do lead to precise actions. It is crucial to feel disgust, an evolutionary formed resentment towards people like Trump and Putin. And it is important not to rationalise why their erratic chaos or “strong hand” could help to push policies or bring order. It is never worth it. The feeling of primordial disgust should prevail. Otherwise everything could be very well explained to the point where such people suddenly run countries instead of running their petty individual affairs.

Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the presidential race after a series of blunders left Kamala Harris and Donald Trump as the primary contenders for the presidency. The situation has raised questions about the quality of candidates in American politics. Daniel Sillett argues that the real issue isn't predicting who will win, but questioning if these candidates are truly the best America has to offer. He believes that politics should ignite change and represent everyone, but instead, people feel disenchanted, voting out of spite or not at all. Populist figures like Trump, Jeremy Corbyn, and Nigel Farage position themselves against the establishment, yet only drag politics deeper into the mud with style over substance. Sillett stresses that the lack of mainstream inspiration drives people to extremist outsiders. The populist spell of figures like Trump breaks when their unrealistic proposals fail. He calls for fresh, bold ideas from national leaders to inspire true democratic representation. Without such leaders, populist extremism will continue to rise, and the public's disillusionment with politics will persist. #usa #politics #trump #kamalaharris #biden #corbyn #farage https://lnkd.in/eYXT_4Nc

Last night's presidential debates between Joe Biden and Donald Trump were a disheartening spectacle. It's hard to feel inspired or confident in our government when our choices boil down to two squabbling old men—one who seems to suffer from dementia, the other a whining self-serving narcissist. This isn't the leadership America deserves. The state of American politics today is a glaring reminder that we really don't have truly decent choices. Instead of feeling hopeful, I find myself more disillusioned and frustrated than ever. If these are the best options we can put forth, it only strengthens my belief that I don't need a government to dictate my choices. Only I can determine what's best for me. The current political landscape is a shameful display, and it's time we acknowledge the need for real change. #politicaldisillusionment #presidentialdebates #selfgovernance #americanpolitics #frustration #independentthinking #DIA #DIAEveryday #DIAMindset #greatness #veterans #joebiden #donaldtrump #democrats #republicans #GOP

We MUST Unite To SAVE The Real UNITED States Of America - IMRAN™ Only the Democrats could have managed to turn a corrupt, incompetent, megalomaniac, felon, rapist, and buffoon like Trump into a strong contender to get back into the White House. Joe Biden carries the majority of the blame for that colossal failure, and becoming the "Genocide Joe" and "senile uncle" image that turned even his past voters against him. Now that he has done the right thing by dropping out, I would not have rushed into giving Kamala Harris the candidacy. However, if that is what it has to be, I still hold a sliver of hope for this to be a truly historic opportunity for patriotic Americans to recreate and save truly UNITED States of America. I do not belong to any political party. I vote based on issues. I never understood people putting parties, or even worse, personalities and false messiahs above country. But if true patriots (not the flag waving bible thumping hypocrites who support a rap!st/tr@itor) want to really save democracy, then real Republicans AND ALL Democrats have to create a unified ticket. If Kamala Harris is the Democrat Presidential candidate, then we need a Republican as a VP candidate with her. I think Adam Kinzinger as VP would make for a truly unifying ticket. The chance of that happening may be 0.0001%. But, In My Humble Opinion, that is how we must unite to save USA from becoming an English speaking Afghanistan in a few years. In 2018 or 2019 I read a book called How Democracies Die by Stevie Levitsky and Daniel Ziblatt. It terrified me as it discussed how democracies died in places where they ELECTED a person who became an authoritarian leader. I read about how this happened in countries that literally had the word from our Constitution as their own. It happened in countries in our hemisphere. As I read it what terrified me was that in Trump I saw all of the signs of authoritarian leaders and that is without hyperbole and partisanship. I am sharing the Four Key Indicators of Authoritarian Behavior. Read them for yourself, read the examples of how they manifest and ask yourself if you see this with Trump. He is an existential threat to our democracy. And it's not because he is a Republican but because of what he has said and done. We are fools if we doubt that what has happened in other countries can happen here. This election is about saving our democracy. We have to make the right choice. Otherwise beginning in 2025 we will be saying goodbye to the American Experiment. #democracymatters #vote #itcanhappenhere

It's time for We The People to Wake Up! Authoritarianism in any form is anti-democratic and the American people deserve to know the facts and not the rhetoric. Vance is a protégé of Thiel (whom he worked for at Mithril Capital), and they both draw significantly from Curtis Yarvin (aka Mencius Moldbug), who is a "replacement plutocrat" as opposed to a "cooptation plutocrat" (coined terms) – his vision is for the public sector (constitutional governance) to collapse entirely, to be replaced outright by sovereign corporations. (Since there is no public government envisioned to charter them, they are evidently "self-chartering" entities with absolute power. The only elections involved might be shareholders choosing directors. It is essentially corporate monarchy.) Here is a recent corroborating piece in TNR about Yarvin (by Lakoff associate Gil Duran): https://lnkd.in/gXdNRw67 #democracy #2024election #JDVance #weird #corporatemonarchy #politicalnews #politics #politicians #authoritarianism #constitution

Reflecting on the Recent Attempted Assassination of Donald Trump: A Call for Unity and Peace In light of the recent attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump at a re-election rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, it's imperative for us to reflect on the state of political discourse and violence in our nation. This shocking incident, which injured Mr. Trump and tragically took the life of a spectator, underscores the deep divisions and escalating tensions we face. Political violence has unfortunately been a recurring theme in American history, and this latest event highlights the urgent need for a collective commitment to peace and unity. As Mr. Trump himself urged, we must stand united and show our true character as Americans, not allowing evil to prevail. Both sides of the political spectrum have condemned this act of violence, with President Joe Biden calling it "sick" and others, like Steve Scalise, pointing out the dangers of incendiary rhetoric. It is crucial that we do not allow extreme actions by a minority to stifle legitimate political discourse. As we navigate these turbulent times, let us remember that violence is never the answer. We must ensure that our future is determined by democratic processes and the will of the voters, not through acts of aggression. Politicians and citizens alike must choose their words carefully and work towards healing the rifts in our society. Let this moment be a turning point where we strive for a better, more united America. #PoliticalViolence #Unity #Peace #DonaldTrump #USElections #Democracy #PoliticalDiscourse

Ron DeSantis blasts Biden's 'Weekend at Bernie’s presidency' at The Republican National Convention. This video shows a split screen of Trump watching DeSantis. You can see how he feels towards him and see him mouthing words of praise. The media has done its best to show hatred between the two. Reverse psychology in marketing does not always work, especially when it gets played out. As DeSantis states, " We have a responsibility to preserve what George Washington called the sacred fire of liberty. This is a fire that burned in Independence Hall in 1776 when 56 men pledged their life, their fortunes, and their sacred honor to establish this nation. It's a fire that burned at a cemetery at Gettysburg when our nations first Republican President (Abraham Lincoln) pledged this nation to a new birth of freedom. It's a fire that burned at the foot of the Berlin Wall in 1987 when our nation's 40th president (Ronald Reagan) stood in front of that wall and said, " Mr. Gorbechav, Tear down this wall." This is not a responsibility we should fear. It's a responsibility we should welcome. After all, If not us, who? If not now, when? Lets make the 45th president of the United States the 47th president of the United States. Let's elect Republicans up and down the ballot, and let's heed the call of our party's nominee to Fight Fight for these United States. Thank you God bless you.Let's win in November." #politics #DeSantis #Trump #Biden #democrats #republicans #freedom #America #USA #Florida #constitution #law #lawenforcement #Israel #crime #money #leadership https://lnkd.in/gmYfSfRT
