What are the challenges that the NHS face? The NHS particularly faces a lack of capital investment, which is built up over many, many years. Most recently acknowledged by the Dazi report which confirmed that there's more than ��30 billion lacked lacking in capital investment in the NHS. This has led to significant underinvestment in medical equipment. Most NHS trusts have a backlog of capital in investment in their. That would that's aged equipment, especially in radiology, sometimes radiotherapy, endoscopy and other areas. The main challenge is for the NHS are #1 lack of funding and it's clearly one of the challenges that we're here today at the HFA conference to address. Another challenge for the NHS is it's aging equipment fleet. This is this goes hand in hand with the lack of funding. So how can a management service help? Well a managed equipment. Service can provide comprehensive solution to all of the technology and investment capital investment needs of an NHS Trust. It's a combination of a long term partnership around technology and around commercial partnership and these overlapping areas allow managed equipment service to give an NHS Trust that strategically planned capital investment program which can include modern equipment digital solutions. Maintenance equipment lifecycle optimization and in fact optimizing the whole solution in a planned way which is inherently far more efficient than sort of annually reactive program. Ms. is a planned long term solution. And if I go back to the challenges, I think that is the number one challenge that there is a lack of or it's difficult for the NHS to have long term solutions in place. So I think that Ms. managed equipment service. Does provide that opportunity as a tool to have this long term planning?

Excellent to hear the MES agenda is still as prevalent as it was when I negotiated the Largest Contract in U.K. and Europe, perhaps I could lend my voice and support from an Ex NHS Employee now retired Very best wishes David and John , food for thought

Helsingborg-based Acorai, a Swedish company focused on heart failure management devices, has raised $4.5M (€4.28M) in a new funding round. A happy 2025, where family will always come first, despite work and, of course, a bit of fun. Last year our TomoHD, installed in 2012, had to make way for our modernisation strategy. The installation of the #ElektaEVO is just one part of this. Together with Ardie Ermers, "JC" Juan-Carlos Celi, PhD, Dirk Schlüter, Kai Kütemeyer, Stephan Majoor, David Foreshaw, BSc MBA and many others have we found a solution to a central challange in #Radiotherapy obsolence. In the absence of funding for the ever-increasing costs of healthcare, there is a risk of technological stagnation. LinkedIN is full of news about the installation of a new LINAC, whether it is called #TrueBeam, #ETHOS, #Cyberknife or #ElektaVersa. The central problem is that one #LINAC does not modernise an entire radiotherapy practice. The management of #ELEKTA has not only understood this problem, but with its consistent further development of hardware and software, software as a service and its open structures has created a solution for us that not only provides us with the most modern #LINAC today, but also enables us to offer our patients at the #DTZ and the #OZB Köpenick all the important innovations for many years to come.
