Things have gone even worse today!😑 let me explain the whole story in short, just bare my english!😅 So, In the final semester of our college we have a subject where we actually have to do 2 On-Job-Training a.k.a Internship each of 1 month at some organisation and whatever we learn there, we'll have to create project with that skill and show in end sem🤓. Now that's fine, but the real story starts here, let's talk about current situation. Due to some "so called uncertain conditions🤐" college conducted our last semester exam just few weeks back and now they are announcing that we will have to bring the certificate and experience letter for 2 the organisations before next end-sem💀(which is in 1st week of June btw🥲 i.e. around 1 month from now). Now, I went to college to ask them, "Will the college accept the experience letter and certificate from the company(startup) I am currently working for?🤓" as I thought, I may provide the expreience letter of my current company and the next company I'll work for, will give me the next certificate and things may get sorted. BUT they said "No, we only accept government authorised organisations' certificate...😑" So finally the situation we have is: • In next 1 month, we have to get certificate of 2 organisation, which apparently is not possible😬 • if we pay "₹2500 x 2", they(teachers) will provide certificate of some company they have tie up with😶. • if we don't do so, we may be declared failed. Because in next one months we can only get involved with one organisation not 2(as per requirement)😶. This morning we had the privilege of meeting with our YST group and completed an exercise to learn more about the needs of their company. What would you add to this list? If you are unfamiliar with the YST Program, here's a quick recap: The Youth Skills Training (YST) Program from the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry is designed to help high school students (ages 16-17) learn job skills in industries like manufacturing! We are working with Cambridge-Isanti Schools and helping them create a program called, Bluejacket AMP- (Advanced Manufacturing Program). We get to meet with several businesses who get to welcome student interns into their organization next fall! We are helping to prepare, not only the students, but the businesses AND mentors for success. Students will get to work part-time in real jobs while still in school. (Kinda like OJT, except manufacturing based work!) They get practical experience and learn directly from professionals in the field. Repurposed Educator
