I am sharing this information with all of my clients and to anyone who might have visited a Lenscrafter location for eyecare and or prescription eyewear. If you were a LensCrafters customer between 2013 and 2023, you could be eligible to take part in a A class action lawsuit which also does business under the name Luxottica Retail North America, It is was determined in the lawsuit Lenscrafters engaged in deceptive advertising by making false statements about the precision of its AccuFit system. "Accufit digitally measures the exact location of your pupils, the spacing of your eyes, and the shape of your glasses so we can place your prescription in your lenses exactly where you need it to see your best”. The lawsuit said LensCrafters claimed the AccuFit system was “five times more precise” than traditional methods, measuring “down to a tenth of a millimeter,” and that customers would have “clearer, crisper vision” and “see the world more clearly.” The lawsuit alleged those claims were false. consumers may be eligible for approximately $50 per pair of eligible prescription eyeglasses purchased after opting into AccuFit from Sept. 5, 2013 and Sept. 20, 2023, per the settlement website. The deadline to file a claim on the settlement website is Wednesday, March 27. For more information, you can call (833) 933-8668 or email info@accufitclassaction.com. The biggest change in Bird Eyewear history; We've got some big news to share with our flock.   On the 29th December at 5pm, we’ll be stopping our online sales of #prescription eyewear (sunglasses will remain online). This means you won’t be able to buy prescription glasses online after this date.   This might seem sad (and it is a little), but don’t worry. You’ll still be able to buy our prescription frames from our optical stockists around the country, and we’ll keep selling our incredible sunglasses on findyourbirds.com. So from January onwards all of our online glasses products will point you to your nearest stockist instead.   This is a BIG change for us (probably the biggest change since we launched), and we’ve made it for positive reasons. We’re growing and our list of optical stockists has tripled in the last year alone.   We want to prioritise and champion the connections between our flock and their local #optician. Supporting #local business and lowering the carbon footprint of our optical frames.    If you’d like to order prescription glasses online, you’ll need to do so before the 29th December. I recently booked the most "underrated" service. Most of our jobs demand high screen time. I had to get my eyes checked up even though they were operated 4 years back. Lenskart is an Indian multinational optical prescription eyewear retail chain. Eye check-up at home POWERED (literally) by Lenskart.com This service was started in 2013 by Lenskart.com But I never saw a single advert about it since then. It's been more than 10 years now. I was surprised that something like this was possible at home. I asked a few friends and family if they tried this service before but all of them were unaware of it. Store walk-ins were known and promoted. This service is so good but not many people know about it. -Even if the product/service is good enough if it is not marketed or promoted well, it will not generate revenue. -Why did I call it "underrated" because this service was perfectly priced according to the Indian market. -It was smooth and the staff was well-trained with the equipment and resources. -As the service was booked only for me, my mum did not believe me at first but once she saw it happening. She got it done too. Lenskart.com took 2 customers home that day instead of one. -It was an ideal service as the convenience it provided, in this 30-degree summer was unmatchable. -They booked a slot for me within 2 hours. -When he came for the check-up, he also bought a few frames for me to pick from. All in all, this was a great way to market your product and provide the service at home as well. Did you know about this service? On the other hand, there was a decrease in the number of consumers who purchased eyewear costing more than $200 out of pocket.
