Yes, it is due to a conflict of interest. The ESC IGC holds little value, but because of its good relationship with BCSP, it is given some recognition. This is a common scenario globally. If we look back, we can see that IOSH also took similar actions against NEBOSH, but #NEBOSH refrained from commenting on IOSH’s actions. #IOSH realized that it could negatively impact their business, and it seems #BCSP is now taking a similar stance.
