Currently, leaders in the hospitality industry around the world are providing hotel management, guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, ground transportation and catering with smart walkie talkies that enable them to communicate with one another. These lightweight devices can be worn instead of carried and using them to engage is faster and easier than with bulky, heavy walkie talkies. They are so popular that one of the biggest hospitality hotel operators in the U.S., with 82 hotels in 28 states, is equipping all its on-site employees with these devices. Because they connect to the internet, smart walkie talkies can also provide real-time location data and insights. They integrate with smartphones and can translate conversations in different languages in real-time. And if a team member needs immediate assistance, the device can send a safety alert. As I reflect on how smart walkie talkies and other devices are revolutionizing hotel guest and employee experiences, I can’t help but see they are made possible by strong, well-built, and advanced network and data infrastructure. Guest Internet is our brand, we manufacture internet controllers for businesses that connect to the Internet you already have, and manage the internet in such a way that you can offer WiFi access to guests and visitors. 🏪 Who uses our products? Mostly hospitality businesses such as hotels, campgrounds, but also airports, trade shows, music concerts, apartment buildings, water parks, community WiFi just to name a few. 📶 Why do they need an Internet controller? Because just letting people access your Internet without a password and have no limitations to the access can cause Internet network congestion, some people will not be able to connect to the WiFi and people who are not supposed to connect will be using your WiFi and using all the bandwidth you have. In some cases, people can also hack into your network and steal information from your businesses computers. 📲 So, what happens when the Guest Internet controller is installed? People will ask for the WiFi password, they will have to log in using the code you will give to them, generated by our equipment. Before people have access to your WiFi, you will set up the WiFi service by going through the easy configuration process to add the limits (data, speed, time duration) and use other features we have to set other rules for people who want to access your WiFi. 💰 What if I want to charge people for accessing my WiFi? No problem, with our equipment you can optionally charge people who want to get access to your WiFi or you can also offer free Internet for a period of time, say 30 minutes, and then charge for each hour after that. Our product has a ticket system that it makes very easy to do that. There are many more features available.
