Juneteenth marks the end of slavery in the United States. Its official designation as a federal holiday in 2021 was a long-overdue recognition of the terror experienced by Black Americans and of the freedom denied to them for hundreds of years.
It’s also a day to celebrate progress and reinvigorate our advocacy against systemic racism and bias in all forms.
Today, let's celebrate the progress we’ve made and continue to support one another as we strive for a more inclusive future. Whether through allyship, sponsorship, mentorship, or partnership, we all have an opportunity to uplift colleagues, include new people, and advance equity.
