Helping Women in Telecoms Get Promoted and Become Stand out Leaders, Whilst Staying True to Themselves | Trailblazer 5 Places Jan| DEI Report & Plan | Equity Workshop | 000's global client | English Channel Swimmer 🧜♀️
"You're a bit bland and vanilla" A person I admired and trusted said to me and I'll never forget it. It hit me super hard, I felt it in my heart and it took my breath away. My ears were stinging with tears. I felt so judged. I stopped wanting to write content and programmes. It put my off starting my podcast for months. I didn't want to show up and serve… "What's the point?!" Have you ever felt judged? When it's twisted a knife for you? Something you already felt. And it confirmed all those fears. The things you dare not speak. Like your worst secret has spilled out into the world. That shame that can suck you in and keep you stuck. Today is a reminder you can always choose! Choose what you make something mean Choose if you internalise it and make it all about you. Choose to assume everyone thinks the same. Choose to let it stop you in your tracks. It's not your business what someone else thinks of you, instead it matters what you think of yourself. Instead I choose: To be brave and courageous To lean into the discomfort To reconnect to my mission I have a bigger purpose and passion than one comment warrants. That is my fire, and today it burnt through the doubt. I might be one person's vanilla, for someone else I might be hope, light and the possibility of change, their fire! That alone will power me on! Have you ever felt judged as a woman leader? What impact did it have on you? ___________________________________________ 🙋♀️ I'm Nic - on a mission to help more Senior Women Leaders stand out and get promoted to drive real change in tech organisations. 👉 Stand out. Get Promoted. Make a Difference - If you're ready for this drop me a DM.

The life science industry, despite its celebrated advancements, conceals challenges for women beneath the surface. Biases, both explicit and implicit, form an intricate tapestry of struggles, casting shadows on ambitions and expertise. The glass ceiling and subtle skepticism persist, woven into the fabric of our careers. Beyond accolades, women in these industries face silent battles—subtle biases, societal pressures, and the constant need for validation. It's more than professional accomplishments; it's navigating challenges not always visible on the surface. It's crucial to recognize and celebrate the inner resilience that propels women forward. Acknowledge the strength to confront self-doubt, challenge assumptions within our organizations and navigate the intricate dance of expectations. By coming together to transform the corporate landscape as we overcome our internal limitations we can create real and lasting change in these industries. And that's the journey @dr kate price and @julie lawless hope to support you on during The Insightful Leaders retreat. Apply now to join us in March at Elcot Park near London, space is limited: https://buff.ly/496urM8

I went to You Flourish’s 2024 Women’s Goal Setting Summit and here’s how I killed it! Women’s conferences have an electric atmosphere- ambitious women, new people, and exciting opportunities to grow. As an achiever myself, here’s what I took away from the day. Make connections! Step away from your table and go network with other thought leaders. Be prepared to leave an impression. By the end of the day, I had made coffee dates to move two of my big dreams along. Be Courageous! Every time you do something courageous, you open yourself up to potential failure. It doesn’t matter if you succeed or not because you are building stamina and momentum. Make big hairy audacious goals and chase them down. Progress over perfection. Self Advocacy! Invite others to help achieve your dream. When you self-advocate, you have to make sure your pitch is impactful and memorable. Embody confidence and know your worth. Rule #1: I won’t make myself small. You Flourish provided the time and space to collaborate with other FM women and dream big. Excited to see how my big three dreams move along in 2024. Stay tuned! Thanks Kelsey Joy Buell Grace Lange and You Flourish.

Those of you who know me should know that I am a knowledge sharer and only share things that offer true value. I have already shared why the women in my network should attend The Brilliance Summit. A LinkedIn buddy asked me if this is a sit-and-listen summit. She stated that she doesn't want just to be inspired. She needs actionable takeaways, concrete steps, and even some accountability. I threw my head back, laughed like a James Bond villain, and held up my Letter of Commitment, one of the easier action items from the December 2023 Me4Me luncheon. We all had to write one and submit it to Madeline McQueen, who promised to post it in six months. Voila, I received mine today! I assure my LinkedIn buddy that she should be careful what she wishes for because one thing for sure is that The Brilliance Summit will have more action than an action-packed episode of the A-Team. What I can guarantee is that as an attendee: ✨️You will leave with an action plan to elevate your career and other neglected areas of your life. ✨️You will leave with hand cramps due to the copious amount of notetaking. ✨️You leave with jawache because of the deep-down belly laughs and genuine smiles of joy. ✨️You will leave with an abundance of new connections who will hold you accountable. ✨️You leave with detailed actions to propel you to your next level self. I know it sounds too good, but once you go to the website, you'll see why it's called The Brilliance Summit. Personal Branding Speaker & Trainer | Let’s get visible and top of mind with personal branding + PR + LinkedIn | Keynotes & Workshops | Closing The Visibility Gap for Women | Author | 80s Music Fan | Own Your Lane 11/19
Each week on LinkedIn, I see these top struggles... “How do I find my niche?" "How do I position myself?" It's crucial to set yourself apart, but it's hard. So, a few things happen. 1) You do nothing, stay stuck, and muddle along 2) You look at and copy what others are doing, blend in 3) You change your direction often, never getting traction. Nothing pains me more than seeing the best and brightest women experts and founders on the sidelines, wanting to become visible through their transformative work and lives. But feel held back. And never put themselves out there. That's why today's Standout Women is tackling this topic with some real talk. Join me and expert guest Humaira Akhter 👓 later today to help women experts and solopreneurs get out there with their aligned expertise, which sets them apart for those you're here to reach. 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲: 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝘄𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗲 Hit attend below for the LIVE or REPLAY (watch at your leisure) 🎤 OVER TO YOU Please share with us what problem you are solving and for whom. P.S. like the quote says, if you focus on their problem first, things flow from there (we'll explain more)

I help remarkable executive women navigate their crossroads with powerful personal coaching / Trusted C-suite confidante, connector and champion of women / Burnout authority / Inspirational Speaker
Ah, procrastination. It's a killer, isn't it?! And LinkedIn makes it sooooo easy to avoid what YOU KNOW you should be doing and still feel like you're virtuously working in the name of professional connections 😉 A fabulous group of executive women learned the three keys to smashing procrastination and reclaiming their laser focus earlier this week at our Women Leading Women lunch'n'learn, and I'm already hearing what a difference it's making for them! Missed out? You missed a whole lot of smart! But I know perhaps it couldn't be helped, particularly for the women on the waitlist hoping for a last-minute ticket. If you're feeling a bit of FOMO and want to know the three 'magic' keys to getting clear and getting started, drop me a DM and I'll send you our highlights resource. It's the next best thing to being there, and could even put your doom-scrolling to bed forever! Much love to you x #womeninleadership #executivewomen #executivecoaching #procrastination --------- 👋 I'm Karyn Brinkley, trusted coach and confidante of executive women with purpose and commitment who sense there are opportunities for more, for better, for bigger, if only they had the bandwidth and energy to see them. What will I do for you? As your confidante I listen closely and supportively and safely. As your coach, I remind you who you are and what you care about, and help you get your life back. I help you feel better. If you'd love to feel better, let's stay connected! 📨 Send me a DM to arrange a zoom call 🤝 Connect with me today 💡 Follow me for daily insights

Have you ever been to a panel where you left thinking, "Wow...those people just really liked to hear themselves talk"? Let's be honest, a lot of networking events + conferences don't add a lot of value 🤨 I love networking events and workshops where you leave feeling inspired, feeling like you've learned something, and feeling like you have made true, genuine connections with people. (It's one of our goals for The Beauty Social every month!) I know Amy Kapolnek feels the same way, so I *can't wait* to attend her event for female leaders + entrepreneurs, "Success Unleashed: Achieving Power, Purpose & Passion." The event is dedicated to growth, empowerment and connection, with diverse focuses on wellness + visualization, how to succeed at the top, and investing strategies for women. I'm so excited 🤗 Dropping the link in the comments for anyone else who's interested. Let me know if I'll see you there!
