VerdeGo Aero, The Lindbergh Foundation, XPRIZE Foundation.

I've taken my share of chances in my life, but always calculated. I've broken some bones and had some failures at business, but the successes have been well worth the risk. My flight across the Atlantic in the Lancair was the biggest success - ensuring the survival and success of the #XPRIZE. Today the #LindberghFoundation is taking on the ultimate challenge - Decarbonizing aviation. The challenge is audacious and the scale is enormous, but we've done this before, we have the tools, we have the people, we've set the stage. Join us on a once in a century journey to make aviation sustainable for the next generation. #sustainableaviation https://lnkd.in/gUY5SGT5 #NYP2027

“I love the sky and flying more than anything else on earth. Of course there’s danger; but a certain amount of danger is essential to the quality of life. I don’t believe in taking foolish chances; but nothing can be accomplished without taking any chance at all.” ~ Charles Lindbergh, The Spirit of St. Louis #mondaymotivation

Your grandfather would be on board with the Foundation’s latest effort. In his final book, AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF VALUES, he wrote of his worries about environmental degradation and how his beloved airplanes were a part of the problem.

My wife's father personally witnessed Charles Lindbergh take off from San Diego on his way to St. Louis, then the East Coast and then to Europe. He was indeed a witness to history.
