It's Q4 and time to round out the year strong. Do you have a plan in place? It's also time to start thinking about your goals for 2024. Where do you want to be each quarter? What projects do you want to focus on? Who will be working on those projects with you? If you are not already delegating things you need to be thinking of how you can. If you are starting out in business, that may look like getting help with small projects you don't have experience in or that would take too much time from you, such as website design, copywriting and things a virtual assistant could do quickly. If you are established and ready for the next level that could mean hiring an online business manager to help you on a deeper level. If you are past that point and need someone that can help you with operations, projects, process, strategy and more you may be ready for a fractional COO. Whatever stage you are at now, take some time soon to really consider where you want to be next year and how you can get there. What support do you need? Who do you know that could recommend the right people? What do you need in place to get those people onboarded and successful? I would love to hear where you are at in your business and what your goals are for next year! Please share in the comments! I may have people I can recommend to you 😊
EEEEEKKKKKKK! I am drowning in Q4 of 2023. Your post made me want to run away and hide, but I'm committing to jumping in before EOY to start planning for 2024. Goal #1-- more balance so this doesn't happen again next year!
2024?!?! Only a hyper-organized Operations person like you is thinking about that already, Erin Alli! My mind hasn't gone beyond Christmas yet!
Thank you for reminding everyone that this is the time of year to put plans in place for next year. Your potential clients are doing it too and that means it's Selling Season! Now is the time to be getting in front of all the people who could possible need your services in 2024. You want to make sure they've budgeted for your help AND you're the first person they call when they want to move forward. Not to mention you'll realize all the ways that Erin can help you get your business running in tip top shape!
Oh gosh, I haven't even thought about my goals for next year. Putting that on my to-do list right now!
Small business owners always need to pay attention to resources - making sure they have what they need and can afford. Sometimes that means adding resources, other times that means reducing resources.
There are so many more options out there these days for matching a current need in a business with the right person/role without having to hire a full-time employee every single time #DelegationIsOurFriend
I really streamlined my processes this year, and it's made a major dent in the time I spend doing back of the house business.
There are so many different ways to get the support we need - that's both a blessing and a curse! Education like this is so helpful to start putting a frame around the different options and when they're most helpful.
Already have next year's business plan in place and working it 💪 planting the seeds for 1Q/2Q 24🎉
Sigh, I have "2024 goals" written on my board and unfortunately, it has been there for about a month. At some point, I suppose I have to do it (or erase the board before it burns in).
