Hiring a UX person? Let's talk about clarity and transparency in job postings. Why present a day rate by the hour? Im guessing it’s to mask a low rate or lack of competitiveness? Keeping it clear and straightforward benefits everyone involved. Don’t make me think, as the saying goes 😉. #ux #uxcontracting #userresearch

Helping mid and senior UX & Product people advance their careers. CEO of Career Strategy Lab. UX Researcher & Product Designer.
In your UX job search, your ability to communicate what you’ve done matters more than what you’ve done. No one will know what you've done unless you can communicate it to them. So, if you're struggling in your job search, it may not be a QUALIFICATION problem, it might actually be a COMMUNICATION problem. . #uxdesigner #uxresearcher #productdesigner #uxjobs #uxcareers

National Digital Recruiter - Hiring & Networking with Designers (UX/UI/Graphic/Web) & Developers across the country
UX Researchers! Here a few things to consider to have on your portfolio: Choose a research project (or a few) you’ve completed in the past and present touching on the following: ✔ How did the project come about? ✔How did you plan your research? ✔How much time/resources did you have? ✔What tools and methods did you use and why? ✔Who were your stakeholders? ✔Who was your audience or users? ✔What were the outcomes of this research? ✔What do you wish could have been different about the project or the outcomes? If you can provide these details in your case studies on your portfolio, your chances of landing an interview will increase during these hard times. #uxresearch #ux #uxjobs #digitaljobs #remotejobs

2movery cynical Erin 😉 i think some companies just put an hourly rather than a daily rate and if their a large organisation it goes through sign-off is posted without the people knowing what is "good" or not. However, that said if it is an hourly rate they should put the number of hours in a day that is "normal".
