Imagine a patient trying to figure out where to have a kidney transplant performed. Not an easy decision. Most of us would simply go where we are referred. However, there is data that can tell us which provider has the shortest wait times, the lowest mortality rate, or most successful transplants performed, it’s just not easy to access - or understand. More and more hospitals are recognizing the importance of sharing quality and safety data online, but too often in the form of endless numbers, charts, and graphs that don’t mean much to the potential patient. Ochsner Health wanted to change that. So we set out to reimagine the online display of quality and safety data, making it as accessible as reviewing a car on Consumer Reports. For great hospitals like Ochsner, it’s a win-win. Patients get the information they need and, more often than not, Ochsner continues to serve them. https://lnkd.in/e2wT3KFk

[Event] Promoting adherence as a key topic of public health is a vast mission, but an easier one thanks to ENABLE Adherence   Our co-founder Kevin Dolgin was invited to speak at their yearly World Adherence Forum, centered this year on a crucial subject: “Leveraging digital innovations for medication adherence and health outcomes in Europe”.   Kevin had the opportunity to present a poster describing the impact of the Atoutcoeur platform, a digital solution supporting healthcare professionals leading Patient Education Programs in cardiac rehabilitation.   The poster “Evaluation of quality of life of patients with coronary disease having gone through the Atoutcoeur cardiac rehabilitation program” demonstrates a statistically significant improvement in the quality of life of patients using the program.
