Former HSBC employee turned digital marketing expert, empowering individuals to escape the 9-5 grind by upgrading their skills with trending digital tools and create new opportunities for financial freedom.
Hiring solely based on intelligence or technical skills may not always lead to the most successful outcomes for a team or organization.. Hiring individuals with high EQ can contribute to a positive work environment and stronger team dynamics.. While intelligence and technical skills are important, they should not be the sole criteria for hiring decisions. By prioritizing qualities such as cultural fit, emotional intelligence, adaptability, and diversity of thought, organizations can build stronger, more cohesive teams that are better equipped to achieve success.

This is solid career advice. We all get out in this place at some point. I think the art of leadership is understanding that some situations are not within their control but it is how they handle those situations that determine the outcome. People don’t always remember what we say but they always remember how we made them feel. The article speaks to processing it for ourselves as well since we can’t lean on our staff to vent or commiserate!
You’ll need empathy and compassion.

Especially for women leaders, navigating the virtual landscape can present unique challenges. But here's the good news: 𝗘𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 = 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿! This post unpacks three key phrases that can transform your remote leadership: 1. "𝗜 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗷𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁." Empower your team and boost confidence by delegating with trust. 2. "𝗜'𝗺 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂." Recognition goes a long way, especially virtually. Celebrate your team's wins! 3. "𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀." Foster connection by highlighting how each team member contributes to the bigger picture. Remote work can sometimes lead to feelings of isolation or imposter syndrome. These emotionally intelligent phrases help combat those feelings and build a strong, supportive team environment. 𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙚 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙭𝙩 𝙡𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡? Principal Henmil Group Family Office | Embodied Regenerative Leaders Certification | International Speaker | Author | Regenerative Investment Specialist | Award-winning filmmaker & CEO JET Group
Wonderfully said. In the journey of my career I have experienced many more people who are all talk and no action seeking what value they can extract from the relationship than authentic allies and collaborators who actively pursue a relationship anchored in beneficial mutualism. Regenerative Leadership is about ways of “being” in relationship which expresses the 10 principles of living systems, empowering all participants in the relationship dynamic to thrive, rather than applying our competition and scarcity mindsets to “how” we work. Regenerative Leadership is not just about “doing” projects in a regenerative way, but of “being in right relationship” to all participants in the groups and systems you are working with. Regeneration is about actively creating conditions for all of life to thrive

Magnetic Leadership Expert, helping magnetize employees and building loyalty for increased performance. I fix mid-level management performance problems and reform company cultures. | 23 yrs. Executive Level Experience!
I was once told, “If you are not at the dinner table, you are definitely on the menu!” This statement means if you are not sitting at the upper-management table making decisions on who the next person is to fill a position, then they are discussing you. But what are they discussing? They are talking about two things: * Your Performance * Your Behavior Now, ask yourself, how is your performance and behavior compared to your colleagues? They are your competition. If you have someone supporting you and riding for you behind closed doors, make it easy on them by keeping your performance standards high and, most importantly, using your emotional temperament to keep your behavior in line for success. I cannot stress how many I have witnessed lose out on upper management promotions while I sat at the table of upper management due to their emotional temperament. Repost if you can relate. Follow me for more management/ leadership insight. #MagneticLeadership
