Hello everyone! Here is a cost-effective solution... ❓ How do I connect Pt100 sensors to 0-10V inputs? To connect Pt100 sensors to 0-10V inputs, you must use an appropriate signal conditioning circuit to convert the change in resistance of the Pt100 sensor into a voltage signal corresponding to the measured temperature. Here's a basic components needed to achieve this: - Pt100 temperature sensor - Signal conditioning circuit (e.g., a dedicated Pt100 to voltage converter) - Power supply (if required by the signal conditioning circuit) ❓ Why and when to use a signal conditioning circuit for PT100 to 0-10 V? ➡ Many data acquisition systems, controllers, PLCs,.. accept voltage signals (0-10V) as default inputs. Using a converter becomes essential to ensure compatibility with the Pt100 sensor. ➡ Signal conditioning circuits can improve the accuracy and linearity of temperature measurements, indeed, Pt100 sensors have a non-linear resistance-temperature characteristic. 👉 Do you think there are other situations that might require a PT100 - 0-10V converter?
