"There's nothing to lose by trying new things - you can only gain!" 🌟 Our summer DigiTALES was a complete success, held in glorious sunshine on our garden deck! Dr. Joanna Niedzwiedz, Head of IT Portfolio Management at Erste Bank, captivated us with her keynote speech about seizing opportunities and learning from new challenges. Joanna shared her journey from Katowice, Poland to Vienna and emphasized the importance of authenticity in leadership. Afterwards, inspiring conversations and connections were flourishing in our networking part. Many thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to the vibrant discussions. And always remember: "Don't assume something is impossible, analyze the challenge, prepare for it, face the fear… and go for it! You will either love it or learn from it!" #makeITmatter #ErsteDigital #Networking #Leadership

I help Global Leaders & Organizations be Future-Ready | AI, AQ, & EQ | Cultural Intelligence | Human Performance Mindset Junkie | Global Leadership Coach, Trainer & Speaker
Thrilled to share my recent feature in Icy Europe's article "Understanding Cultural Contrasts in Management and Leadership Styles in Europe"! As someone who's lived in Europe and S. America, I've experienced first-hand the rich experience of cultural differences. These insights, grounded in Hofstede's Cultural Dimensions theory, were a fantastic exploration of these nuances. Here's a glimpse: 🇪🇺 Northern Europe values more flat structures and consensus, reflecting their cultural dimensions. 🇫🇷 Western Europe, like France, shows a preference for hierarchical models. 🇪🇺 Eastern Europe combines traditional respect with a dynamic entrepreneurial spirit. But it's not just about understanding these differences. It's about how these insights help us build effective teams and also learn about ourselves in the process. Living overseas was, without a doubt, one of the best experiences of my life - it opened my eyes to the beauty of our diverse world. 🔗 Dive into the article for more on how cultural understanding shapes leadership! #Leadership #CulturalDiversity #Hofstede #GlobalManagement #SelfDiscovery If you're fascinated by how culture shapes leadership, comment below, share this with your network and/or DM me! 🌐 https://lnkd.in/e9bUkiz4

Founder and CEO of Rolad Properties and Allied Services Limited |Real Estate Thought Leader | Wealth Creation Expert | Business Leadership Consultant | Transforming Visions into Reality.
I attended the "Find Your Voice" conference in the city of Brussels hosted by @elevationbrussels.The event was worth every time, and Penny invested. From the opening remark by my pastor @pgeeman where he shared key things to pay attention to in the journey of finding your voice. In his words, communication, leadership, attitude, and relation with people are principles that, when applied by anyone, will yield maximum returns regardless of race and social strata. @drrichardonebamoi talked about resourceful leadership. Resourcefulness means being able to work with the little you have at hand to bring your dreams to reality. This resonates with me as one who built a company worth millions of dollars with close to nothing in my account. Resourcefulness is a virtue any leader must possess. If, as a small business owner, you aren't achieving goals with the little you have, there's a huge possibility that you may not achieve much when given all you need. As Anthony Robbins said, "It is not the lack of resources that causes failure. It is the fact that you are not resourceful." He also talked about the importance of leading yourself first before leading others as one's ability to lead others largely depends on the ability to lead the self. It is amongst the primary criteria for leadership. One of my favourite moments was when Eniola Harrison who rubs shoulders with Belgium's high and mighty graced the stage. She shared that she got to where she is today because she leveraged her knowledge of the system, was intentional while networking, and was bold enough to dare to implement the knowledge she had. Her ability to implement the knowledge she gathered over time is what made the difference. I think that knowledge doesn't necessarily translate to success. Mastery does. You can have the best knowledge, but if it's not backed up with application, discipline, consistency, and mastery, there won't be success. Thank you, @pgeeman and @bollarinwa, for the privilege of access. It was great spending some time with you. #dotunoloyede

CEO Be in touch GmbH, Co-Direktor Center for New Work Management Institut St. Gallen, Executive Coach, Cultural Transformer
Good bye Vienna and thanks for the inspiration. I had the honor to facilitate the empowerment week for a group of leaders from various continents that drive digitalization and sustainability in a company. They knew each other more or less from getting things done virtually, but over the past week we saw the relationships deepen to a level that nobody could see on Monday morning. Thus creating a trustful and safe environment, appreciation and respect, a deep understanding of the common goals and how to reach them. And a network of people that gives a great deal of stability to the organization. My thanks to you, group, for the willingness to share how you think, feel and act. And for your outstanding learning ambition that always went hand in hand with humbleness and a great sense of humour. Last not least: Vienna was a good match for the program: ⭐️ People Leadership: We discussed psychological constellations and patterns in order to build stable and functional relationships + teams. Vienna is the capital of psychology as Freud, Frankl, Adler and Reich worked here. ⭐️ Development and growth: How we construct reality through our perception significantly influences our leadership impact. Scientists from Vienna like Heinz von Foerster made important contributions to constructivism and the understanding of how we change perception and impact over the whole span of our life. ⭐️ Vienna is definitely a music city and a melting pot of amazing styles. Music is a good reminder for leaders that celebrating achievements is joyful, strengthens the cohesiveness and reenergizes after investing our energy into all the challenges and tasks of work. We didn’t leave out the opportunity to celebrate on our last day. Well deserved, group. Looking forward to part two of the journey in fall when we dive into the agile change topic. #transformation #peoplemakeculture #leadershipgoesculture

'A good head and a good heart are always a formidable combination.' In preparing our annual winter event, I was struck by these words from Nelson Mandela. Gathering all Santiago Advisors, we are not just convening to reflect on the past year but also to discuss the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. With a great part of the team joining physically, the dynamics have certainly evolved from the intimate fireside chats of the past. Nonetheless, some things remain – unaffected by the expanding scale of our team. One of them is the importance of balancing intellectual ability with emotional intelligence. Be it as an advisor to our clients or as part of the Santiago leadership team. The fusion of logical reasoning and critical analysis with empathy and intuitive understanding is what enables us to carve out the most effective strategies and solutions – both in our professional endeavors and for our personal growth and development. As we come together, each member of this fascinating team brings their unique perspective, enriching our collective wisdom. This diversity of personality, thought and approach is what drives Santiago forward, ensuring that we continue to lead and innovate – and enjoy what we’re doing. To put it in a nutshell: Being able to calculate is essential in business – and this implies to take “the human factor” into account. 💭 What do you think? Has this approach caught on already? #people #strategy #strategyconsulting

Presenter & TEDx Speaker | Author | Professor | Board Member | Future of Work Specialist | Marketing Leader | Women Empowerment Activist | Helping professionals & organisations build impactful brands
I am super excited to be Presenting the Keynote speech at the Asia Pacific Real Assets Association (APREA) Leaders’ Congress Women’s Luncheon in Tokyo this October. The topic, “Building Your Personal Brand as a Leader” means more than just highlighting your achievements—it’s about showcasing your unique approach to leadership. It’s about being intentional with how you present yourself, from the way you communicate to the values you embody. This process involves consistently demonstrating the qualities that set you apart, whether it's your leadership style, your ability to inspire others, or your knack for innovation. I’m so excited to share my story of how I have crafted a personal brand that embraces authenticity and strategies for navigating the challenges and opportunities of leadership. The Leaders’ Congress theme, A New Global Order for Real Assets, focuses on various investment opportunities in a multipolar world. Cross-border capital flows in Asia Pacific have shown a rebound this year, as investors capitalised on Asia Pacific's relatively strong economic fundamentals and attractive pricing opportunities across markets and asset classes. The consensus outlook calls for solid strides throughout the year as repricing sets new benchmarks for trade, and investors adapt their portfolios and strategies to the current environment. This will be my first time attending and I look forward to discussions on global megatrends, actionable granular opportunities within asset classes, asset allocation and investment strategies as the region continues to recover in 2025. Learn more about APREA's flagship conference and register here: https://lnkd.in/gXqRYaPS Thanks to Roberto Versace, MS, MBA and Sigrid Zialcita for this exciting opportunity! #aprea #womenempowerment #cre #womeninrealestate #womenleadership #womeninbusiness
