Between Tradition and Innovation: The Role of RallyX in Sustainable Motorsport 🏎️🍃 In August, I had the opportunity to work with #RallyX, a rising Rallycross series. But what is #Rallycross, actually? I explain it in the clip below ⬇💡 RallyX demonstrates that motorsport can thrive even in challenging times. The series sets benchmarks for #sustainability by operating completely fossil-free and utilizing innovative remote technology to reduce the number of on-site staff without compromising theirTV productionquality. RallyX also designs its calendar to avoid conflicts with other series, allowing for shorter travel distances and hosting two events at each location - a smart approach to reduce environmental impact and provide drivers with greater flexibility. Motorsport is currently facing a dual challenge: it must maintain its appeal while meeting expectations for sustainability and environmental awareness. This balance between tradition and #innovation is crucial for the future of the industry. It’s a constant balancing act between the passion for speed and the awareness of our planet - a challenge that affects all of us in the #motorsport community. RallyX and I share the vision of bringing motorsport and Rallycross enthusiasts together from around the world. Working together on new concepts that excite fans while respecting the #environment is a process I am proud to contribute my skills to. Since this combination of sustainability and motorsport aligns perfectly with my passion, I was even more thrilled to be part of this project at the final at the Estering - my home circuit. Collaborative teamwork is the key to sustainable success. I'm excited to see where this journey leads and look forward to the next steps ahead. Find out more here: https://lnkd.in/emyDkQxw

For the first time ever, our 2x World Championship-winning Rosberg X Racing car was displayed at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL this year (and our Championship winning driver Mikaela Ahlin-Kottulinsky was there too!) Did you know that Extreme E, the electric off-road racing series, transports its entire championship freight and infrastructure via the St. Helena ship to minimise its carbon footprint? 🌍 This unique approach means we can usually only access our Odyssey 21 vehicles at various race locations, making the GTF display super special! Extreme E's ODYSSEY 21, a fully electric SUV, is designed to withstand the harshest conditions. Its peak 400kw (550bhp) output allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 4.5 seconds, even at gradients of up to 130 percent. This 1895-kilogram, 2.3-metre-wide beast is not only powerful but also part of a one-design fleet, ensuring a level playing field for all competitors. With all these innovations in e-mobility and sustainable racing, how can we further accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in our daily lives? Share your thoughts in the comments! 👇 #eMobility #ExtremeE #Motorsports #SustainableRacing
