The concept of a carbon footprint includes both direct emissions, which are the gases released directly from sources owned or controlled by the organisation (such as fuel combustion in company vehicles or facilities), and indirect emissions, which result from activities related to the organisation but occur outside its direct control (such as the emissions from the production of purchased goods or services and waste disposal). By measuring and analysing this footprint, organisations can identify key areas where emissions are highest and implement strategies to reduce their carbon footprint. Reducing a carbon footprint involves making changes to operations, adopting more sustainable practices, and investing in technologies and solutions that mitigate environmental impact. Got questions? 🌱 **Introduction to Cradle to Cradle: Shaping a Sustainable Future** 🌍 In today’s rapidly evolving world, sustainability is not just a choice—it’s a necessity. One powerful approach is the **Cradle to Cradle (C2C)** concept. Unlike traditional "cradle to grave" systems, which see products discarded at the end of their life, C2C is about designing with a circular mindset, where waste becomes a valuable resource. C2C products are created to biodegrade naturally or be infinitely reused in manufacturing, reducing environmental impact. This holistic approach covers five key areas: material health, reuse, renewable energy, water stewardship, and social fairness. For professionals and companies aiming to lead the charge toward sustainability, adopting C2C principles can foster innovation, reduce waste, and drive long-term growth. Let’s work towards a future where we not only minimize harm but actively contribute to regenerating the planet. #Sustainability #CradleToCradle #CircularEconomy #GreenInnovation #FutureForward

Feedback Technology has always placed great emphasis on ESG initiatives. Recently, we launched a new project focused on circular economy and waste reduction. The main objective of this project is to integrate heat pump evaporation and depressurization technologies to concentrate waste liquids. Through these processes, the filtered water can be reused, significantly reducing waste generation and recovering water resources, thus achieving resource reuse. This project not only helps reduce waste production but also effectively recycles and reuses water resources, which is crucial for our environmental goals. #CircularEconomy #WasteReduction #ESG #EnvironmentalProtection #SustainableDevelopment #GreenTechnology

How can you start incorporating environmental measures into your organisation? Perhaps you'll find some inspiration in the overview below, displaying the 10 most common sustainability efforts companies make within the environmental aspect of sustainability. It comes as no surprise that a waste policy, GHG emission reduction and renewable energy are front-runners. These topics have absorbed a lot of attention in recent years. But we also see that circularity and independence from finite raw materials are relatively high on the priority list. Additionally, an increased awareness of organisations' responsibility in reducing their environmental impact leads to measures like eliminating the use of toxic chemicals and implementing sustainable water management strategies. The big question remains, are these measures sufficient? Key to objectively evaluating the effectiveness of your sustainability efforts, are measurable KPI's. Keen to learn more? Hi, Greeners ✨ Do you know how much waste we generate every year? According to the United Nations Environment Programme, we generate 2 billion tonnes of waste globally every year, and this number is projected to increase. Several approaches and policies are implemented to tackle waste issues, including Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), which becomes our topic in today's Sustainability Vocabulary! Why Scope 3 emissions are critical to your ESG strategy. To effectively manage your company's Scope 3 emissions, you first need to understand why they are so important for minimising your environmental impact and achieving net zero. 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁: • Scope 3 emissions often exceed the combined impact of Scopes 1 and 2. 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴’𝘀 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲: • Reduces waste sent to landfill & incineration, cutting emissions. • Supports sustainable procurement by prioritising recycled materials. • Lowers demand for new materials, reducing extraction and processing emissions. We make recycling easy, engaging, and efficient. 🔗Click the link in the comments contact our team #Sustainability #Scope3Emissions #Recycling #NetZero #OfficeRecycling #EcoBusiness
