A Designer’s Perspective on Color vs. A Normal Person’s View Normal Person's View: When most people see the color purple, they often refer to it simply as "purple." To them, it's a single, beautiful color that might remind them of a favorite sweater or a sunset. They might not think about the subtle differences or the variety of shades, and to them, whether it’s lavender, violet, or plum, it’s all just purple. Designer’s Perspective: For a designer, purple is far more than just one color. It’s an entire spectrum of possibilities. They understand that within purple, there are shades like lavender, which has a soft, pastel quality; violet, which is more vibrant and intense; plum, with its rich, deep tones; and grape, which has a luscious, darker hue. Each shade carries its own mood, meaning, and potential for creating contrast or harmony in a design. To a designer, choosing the right shade of purple isn’t just about preference—it’s about evoking the right emotion and aligning with the overall visual language of the project. #design #color #purple #DesignThinking #ColorTheory #ShadesOfPurple #CreativeDesign #VisualStorytelling #ColorPsychology #DesignInspiration #DesignerLife #ColorPalette #DesignVsReality #CreativeMindset #ArtOfColor #VisualAesthetics #ColorSpectrum
