LEBC receives £5000 donation from Cambridge & Counties Bank Leicestershire Education Business Company would like to sincerely thank Cambridge & Counties Bank for their most generous donation of £5,000 and their pledge to volunteer with LEBC’s School Events Team in the coming months. The bank’s team of executives will support LEBC’s School Events Team and volunteer their time to boost Careers Education in our local partnership schools. Together, LEBC and Cambridge & Counties Bank will be able to create meaningful encounters between working professionals and young people, in support of social mobility and raising young people’s aspirations. Furthermore, the donation will help LEBC to support local young people to build essential skills for working life along with their confidence, resilience, and self-esteem. The generous donation will support LEBC to boost young people’s careers education and create early careers opportunities, giving young people the best possible chance to transition from education to the world of work successfully. Emma, LEBC’s Business Sponsorship and Business Development lead, commented, “We are extremely grateful to benevolent employers like Cambridge & Counties Bank, their donation will enable us to inspire more young people, especially those at risk of becoming NEET, of achieving their potential. Social mobility is at the heart of our strategy, giving young people who are furthest from the labour market the opportunities and support to get inspired by work encounters from Mock Interviews, to Careers Talks and visits to workplaces.” Our business partners go above and beyond to support our work, and bridge the gap between young people and professionals, whether that’s providing valuable work experience placements, promoting the STEM industry, or volunteering in schools. They generously dedicate their time, skills, and energy to support LEBC services. Cambridge & Counties Bank’s donation will support LEBC’s growth plans and enable us to continue our work supporting young people, schools and colleges and local employers. #donation #partnership #socialmobility #volunteering
