Job Summary: The Technical Records Specialist is responsible for maintaining and managing aircraft technical records, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, and supporting maintenance operations. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments within the company. Key Responsibilities: -Maintain and update aircraft technical records, including logbooks, maintenance records, and component history. -Ensure all technical records are accurate, complete, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. -Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and quality assurance teams to verify and document maintenance activities. -Review and process work orders, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives. -Assist in the preparation of reports for regulatory authorities and internal audits. -Manage and archive technical documentation in both physical and digital formats. -Monitor and track component lifetimes and scheduled maintenance tasks. -Support the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities based on technical records. -Respond to inquiries and requests for technical records from internal and external stakeholders. -Ensure confidentiality and security of all technical records. Fortunately, we have other available technicians and can offer alternative solutions. Why is this Relevant? 😕 Sites that requested specific technicians planned months in advance, anticipating peak periods in the summer or accommodating staff vacations. Lesson to be Learned: Book our contractors at least one month in advance to ensure the availability of your preferred technician.
