"Recruitment should be cheap and fast!" Do you agree? We believe this common misconception leads to unrealistic expectations and frustration for both agencies and hiring companies. Companies need their new hires to fit the role, align with the company culture, and contribute to long-term growth. A rushed process that only focuses on quickly filling the role can result in a poor investment, even if it seems cost-effective initially. Understanding your company’s needs, culture, and goals takes time. Finding and nurturing the right candidate takes time. It's time to debunk some of the biggest myths in recruitment. By challenging these misconceptions, we can set realistic expectations and ensure smoother, more successful hiring.

Most of us have experience with or an opinion about recruitment agencies. However, despite the seemingly homogenous industry niche, it is clear that the space is cluttered by thousands of different players, all with different focuses and ways of working. Unfortunately, a large chunk of the agencies out there have chosen a very pushy, almost aggressive approach with lots of big promises both on the client and the candidate side, despite minimal real engagement and loyalty. Even if the approach might yield some success short term, we are confident it won't be beneficial for anyone in the long run. And even worse, the approach defines the perception of the entire industry, which in turn leads to skepticism or unrealistic expectations and often unsatisfying results. And ultimately, that means fewer great matches of talent and jobs, with obvious implications for both individuals and companies. So what can we do about this? Why not start by being completely honest. No, we won't be delivering your next hire tomorrow. Here is why. https://lnkd.in/dSZTS9V6

Mid-summer celebrations are on this weekend here in the Nordics which means many people are shifting into vacation mode. I think its a good opportunity for Myth-busting time! 💥 As a hiring manager you may be faced with a situation that hiring that crucial addition to your team has not been done yet. Many say “Recruitment agencies should be fast and cheap.” This mentality sets everyone up for failure. Quality recruitment takes time and effort. You want someone who fits your company and stays to help it grow. Quick fixes don’t provide that. 🤸♀️ In my experience this can be a great time to set up a quality process with an external recruitment agency as this gives you a recruitment professional to manage expectations, communication and overall operational activities while you are on that much deserved time off. 🌞 Understanding your needs and finding the right match is everything. Don’t let myths lead to missed opportunities and poor hires. Invest in a thoughtful hiring process for better results. ✅ #recruitment #summer #talentacquisition Intelligent Employment

Getting your Recuiters working for you! What Recruiters want and Hiring Managers need to understand is that Recruiters will give your openings priority status if we have complete transparency - why is position open, what are the key skills required ( let’s cut thought the long and often outdated JD), what are the internal constraints to making a hiring decision, what are the team dynamics and of course the salary range. Respect a recruiter’s time as you do your own and you will start seeing resumes faster because we aren’t recruiting from a blank slate. This is information that is imperative to know before the recruiting process can begin, saving you time and money. To my favorite Hiring Managers - and you know who you are because I drop almost everything to send you qualified candidates - Thank you 😊
I don't know which hiring managers need to hear this but saying a job is remote on your job posting and then telling candidates once they interview that they need to be in the office a few days a week is terrible recruitment. ,
