🔥 Good news – positive early results of the BIO|CONDUCT study were shown at a late breaking science session during #HRS 2024 and also published at Heart Rhythm. 📝The study included 186 patients across 14 US sites, in whom #LBBAP was successfully achieved in 95.7% using a stylet-driven lead (SDL). As an intern a Mckay-Dee Hospital with the respiratory team, I not only seen what the Respiratory team does, but also what other caregivers and medical staff do. When the respiratory team and I were in a room a patientsh eart rate was high and blood pressure was low. The physician decided that the patient needed to be put on ECMO. ECMO stands for Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, also known as life support. This is a machine that it placed which that takes the blood out of your body and takes the Co2 out and places the oxygen back into your tissues.
