Australian Energy Week 2024 is only 3 months away and there are less than 15 exhibition booth spaces left! The reasons that Energy Week is attracting more exhibitors each year is that it has the highest quality audience. It's an audience full of energy industry executives that are actively looking for solutions to their big problems. Meaning our exhibitors get to engage with actual buyers and not just other salespeople. You can expect well over 1000 attendees representing Australia's major energy companies and large users, with companies already registered including: • ActewAGL Retail • AEMO • AGL • Ausgrid • CitiPower, Powercor and United Energy • CS Energy • Delta Electricity • Department for Energy and Mining • Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) • Energy Australia • Energy Queensland Download the early confirmed attendee list: https://hubs.la/Q02qx6nY0 With 3 months to go, we already have 400+ attendees signed up, that will be joining us across the 4 days in Melbourne. If you want to find out more, or get a sample of the attendees from 2023, contact Milad Etemadi at milade@questevents.com.au or Tashi Gazzard at tashig@questevents.com.au.

As a representative of a technology development company, attending WindEnergy Hamburg 2024 was an exciting and inspiring experience for me. With exhibitors from all over the world and the latest innovations in the wind energy sector, it was like an energy festival! - More than 1,600 exhibitors: These companies came from 40 different countries and presented both onshore and offshore wind energy solutions - 75,000 square meters of exhibition space: The fair covered a total of 10 halls, three of which were double-height, which shows how big the event was - More than 43,000 visitors: With exhibitors from 100 different countries, it was the meeting point for the global wind energy community - 27 national pavilions: The fair has become an international event with companies from many countries participating with their own national pavilions These figures show that WindEnergy Hamburg is the most important meeting point for the wind energy industry, not only in Europe but worldwide. But the most impressive part of the fair for me was the connections I made with people from all over the world. Whether big companies or start-ups, I was really impressed by the fact that everyone was here with a common goal - to build a sustainable future. It was incredible to talk to people about new projects, collaborations, discuss how we can contribute to the energy transition. Especially with competitors :) The topics featured at WindEnergy Hamburg 2024 included many innovative solutions and strategies that will shape the future of the wind energy sector. Here are the themes that caught my eye at the event: - Repowering - Energy Storage Solutions - Smart Grid Technologies - Drone Technologies - Offshore Wind Energy By focusing on these issues, I see WindEnergy Hamburg 2024 aiming to accelerate the future growth of the sector and contribute more to the energy transition than in the recent past. As I left the show, I realized that the wind energy sector is not only undergoing a technological transformation, but is also building a global community. The wind blowing outside is a reason for people to come together here. This experience was a great source of inspiration for me and I definitely plan to attend again at the next fair! See you guys in 2026. #WindEnergyHamburg , #dronecare, #TIJIWA, #endustriyeldrone, #droneinspection,

Most of the world is trying to accelerate the uptake of renewables which requires extensive grid capacity enhancement. Traditionally, this means we need to build more lines and lots of them! The Balkan region in Europe is no exception. At Samit energetike Trebinje, Zeljko Bobar, from Ampacimon presents how Dynamic Line Ratings (#DLR) can be used to reduce capacity constraints on powerlines without needing to replace the conductor or build new lines. With the amount of grid expansion the world faces, we have no choice but to think outside of the box and look at non-wire solutions to these problems. Ampacimon are world leaders in DLR, providing solutions in this space for over 14 years. For more information, refer to: https://lnkd.in/giikJnSq

Today, I was at the #ChooseFrance Summit to promote the French electricity grid with three messages: 1️⃣ The energy transition from oil and gas to electricity consumption is a major global challenge => huge investments. But the French electricity grid is already strong, well-meshed, and reliable. So, despite the necessary investments, the grid development will be more manageable in France than in our neighboring countries, with less works, fewer outages, and fewer risks for system operations. 2️⃣ RTE’s services are recognized for four main reasons ➜ RTE provides one of the European best quality of electricity and security of supply ➜ RTE is committed to meeting connection timeline in a cost-effective manner. ➜ The upfront connection cost is optimized for new consumers ➜ The grid offers discounted rates for heavy consumers and market mechanisms to value industry flexibility. 3️⃣ By the end of the year, we will publish a plan for grid development, called "Roadmap 2040" to increase visibility for suppliers and future customers. ➜ A visibility to be able to implement a strong supply chain in France and Europe ➜ A visibility to ensure future industries that they will be connected on time to a clean and high-quality power grid.

There is not enough aluminium and copper supply in the world to meet the grid expansion needs in the next 10 years. Nevermind how long it takes to plan and build this infrastructure. If we are serious about meeting carbon targets, we need to implement both traditional and non-wire solutions. Accepting the status quo, is accepting missing the carbon targets.
