🗣️🗣️ We need to talk... about our Business Group Lifecycle Solutions: our successes, current and upcoming challenges and our plans for the future. What more appropriate setting for this then a townhall meeting with the entire team? Some of you may think that such meetings are time wasters. However, I believe that we absolutely need this platform in a dynamic environment such as the IAM, SOE and Workshop Products divisions in order to pause together and transparently inform the team about current developments and enter into dialogue.   Of course, I can't tell you everything that was discussed at this point - sometimes silence is worth its weight in gold in business. Nevertheless, I would like to give you a brief insight into what has kept us busy, pleased and challenged us over the past few months:   👉 This year, we started to implement the Objectives & Key Results (OKR) method in Lifecycle Solutions. Working groups defined specific targets that we want to achieve by the end of the year based on measurable indicators. 👉 Our employees are the guarantee of our success. That is why we emphasise further training and employee retention measures. 👉 We are committed to equality and want to further increase the proportion of female managers in our Business Group. 👉 We are delighted to have a year to date record order intake. The more I learn about the history of Swiss #watchmaking, the clearer one theme shines through: #collaboration. From the early days of family-based craftsmanship in the #ValléedeJoux to the present day, our industry has thrived on partnerships, shared expertise, and a collective spirit of innovation. “Competitors” and “Suppliers” were once thought of as close business partners and this is a view I share completely. In times of challenge, they leaned on each other, both financially and creatively, ensuring the endurance and success of all. Collectively we raised the game on innovation, quality and service This spirit of collaboration is alive and well today at AP. This week, during our annual strategic session, #Panorama, we shared our vision for the year ahead with our collaborators and business partners. It was a powerful moment of connection, where ideas flowed freely, questions were welcomed, and perspectives were broadened. At AP, we understand that nobody wins alone. It's the federative spirit that makes this industry so distinctly human—a reminder of the power of shared heritage and purpose. As we navigate the ever-evolving industry landscape, let us continue to foster collaboration, nurture relationships, and uphold the legacy of camaraderie that so uniquely defines our industry.
