Some days ago, I was invited by the NSChE UNIBEN Chapter to speak to them during their NSCHE week on the topic: "Is chemical Engineering degree worth the stress?" It was also an avenue for me to learn, as my mentor, Andrew Amenaghawon (PhD) was also a speaker at the event. He spoke about the field of chemical Engineering, and by the time he was done, everyone agreed that indeed the degree is worth the stress. As a matter of fact, anything good is worth the stress that accompanies its acquisition. During my session, I provided answers—as one who has walked the undergrad path—to these questions: 1. What can help a student studying Chemical Engineering? 2. What steps can one take to come out as the best graduating student? 3. Is it advisable for a student to have a skill? And then I gave general advice to all Chemical Engineering Students who were present. The session further showed the importance of guidance and pointers from those who are more experienced. In all your getting, get mentorship as you go through life. Once again, I thank the NSChE UNIBEN Chapter for the opportunity, and Andrew Amenaghawon (PhD) for being present to impact us. With time, we only get better 💪. #menorah #chemicalengineering #mentorship #growth #skills #success
