We are grateful for the incredible voices that graced the stage at our Women of Rubies Media Visibility Bootcamp 3.0. Thanks for your time and the insights you shared. Thanks, Chiddie A. Ruth A. DAMILOLA Ajibade Katrice B. Chekwube Uchea Erica Effah ,Fola Adegoke, Nike Kay-Okunubi. Anchors: Oluwatoyin Ogunade I & O. Special guest: Cheraldean Duhaney, Councillor, Town of West Gwillimbury, Ontario. Keynote Speaker: Patricia Bebia Mawa Here are some lessons I learned: Authenticity Reigns: Speakers emphasized the importance of staying true to oneself in media representation. Authenticity not only resonates with audiences but also builds trust and credibility. Power of Storytelling: Learning how to craft and share our narratives effectively can create profound connections. Embracing Vulnerability: Opening up about our struggles and vulnerabilities can be empowering. It fosters empathy and encourages others to embrace their own imperfections, fostering a culture of authenticity and support. Building Resilience: Challenges are inevitable, especially in the media landscape. However, resilience is key. Learning how to bounce back from setbacks and turn obstacles into opportunities is essential for personal and professional growth. Collaboration Over Competition: In a world that often pits women against each other, the speakers emphasized the power of collaboration. Supporting and uplifting each other not only strengthens individual endeavors but also fosters a sense of community and collective success. We are supercharged and looking forward to the next bootcamp in a few months. Thanks for making #mvbc 3.0 a success. If you missed the two days, replay will be available soon on womenofrubies.com/mvbc3 #Womenofrubies #MediavisibilityBootcamp #Womensupportingwomen #Publicrelations
